Typical wolf behavior, I was sure.  After a minute or so of thinking, I decided that if this was the way they were going to act, and if this was the way they were going to treat me, they'd be getting some of the same treatment in return.

I realized that while my will and strength clearly hadn't been a match for the Tickler, I wasn't a complete weakling, that I knew. I still had a shred of willpower left inside of me.  I decided I was going to use that shred to turn the tables on Grayson and Chase. Once they returned, I was going to make them wait, just like they'd made me wait. I was going to make them wait for as long as I could possibly stand it, or as long as they allowed me to. I was at least going to make some sort of attempt to make them see how it felt to be left hanging in a state of extremely frustrated desire.

I decided I was going to get in the bath and stay in, feigning sore muscles and tiredness when Grayson and Chase arrived. I was going to leave my lacy black bra and matching underwear on the bed to maybe get them worked up a little. I was going to do a little light moaning in the tub, with the bathroom door cracked open so they could hear, to possibly get them worked up a little further. Then, I’d make them wait. As long as I could stand it. As long as they'd allow me to. Because after all, that would only be fair. They deserved at least a taste of their own medicine.

I released the blanket from my white-knuckled grip, stood, and just about tore my clothes off, flinging my lacy bra and underwear onto the bed. That’s when my little plan kind of fell apart. Because at that moment, Grayson and Chase entered the cabin, shut the door behind them, and stopped dead in their tracks, their gazes on me, on my now-naked body. My completely naked body. Even from across the large, open room, I could hear low growls rumbling in both of their chests.

Gasping, I snatched the blanket off the bed and held it to my front. "Wolves don't knock?"

Ignoring me, they both strolled across the cabin to the bedroom area. Neither of them took their hungry gazes off me for a single second.

Grayson reached me first, came to a stop, and raked his gaze across my bare shoulders before lifting it to my face. "We knew using a Tickler might be effective, though I don't think either of us ever dreamed it would actually get you ripping your clothes off."

In the glow from the firelight filling the whole cabin, his lightly tanned skin appeared even more golden. His dark gray eyes appeared even a bit darker than they had earlier, and also a bit glassy. He was standing close enough that I could also now smell his scent, which was something woodsy and clean. Something powerfully masculine.

I couldn't help but breathe it in, filling my nostrils, even while I angrily gritted my teeth before I spoke. "I did just rip my clothes off. But don't flatter yourself; it wasn't because of you and Chase. The Tickler is still hardly having any effect on me at all. The reason I just ripped all my clothes off is because I'm going to have a bubble bath, and I'm...." I paused, shuddering, while the gentle undulations of the Tickler seemed to suddenly intensify. "I guess I'm just very eager for it. So if you two will excuse me, I'm going to go run my bath, and-"

    "No."
Grayson had only spoken one word, but delivered in his deep, commanding voice, it was enough to silence me. I stood mute while he moved his large, strong hands to my shoulders and began caressing them while looking deep into my eyes.

"No, Rowan. I'm afraid I don't quite believe you that the Tickler hasn't had that much of an effect on you, and I don't think Chase does, either. I also don't believe that a bath is what you're eager for. So, a bath can come later. But right now...right now, it's time for Chase and me to find out just exactly what kind of an effect the Tickler has had on you."

With my breathing now coming in a series of short, shallow
