here for the vote. And I’m honored you would choose me to be your VP.”
I nodded my head, and said my last statement before I stood to exit the room. “Get them all here, we’ll vote on it tomorrow, but if the vote doesn’t go the way I want it, I need you to do what is needed.” I said as I opened the door and walked out.
“Will do Prez, I’ll get it all taken care of.”
I finished up my business at the club and headed home to get ready for my date with Rebecca. But not before I got Chloe to get a picnic basket dropped off at my house.
After I showered, and dressed, I sat down, drank a cup of coffee Chloe made when I was in the shower and switched on the news. Nothing new is developing in Savannah, except my desire for Rebecca. I picked up my cell and texted her to make sure she was ready.
I’m heading out in a few. See you soon Darling. ~Gavin

Chapter 6
    The Date
    *Rebecca*

I was so nervous when I got the text from Gavin. I answered with a quick smiley face and tried to finish getting ready.
I was standing in front of my closet trying to figure out what I’m going to wear on this date. He said casual. I pulled out my faded dark blue angel jeans and hoped they had no holes in them, to my relief there wasn’t. I held my cast against my chest as I fiddled through the hangers looking for a shirt. The throbbing in my arm was still annoying me, as I settled on a black quarter length sleeve with a lace back. My entire back would be shown through lace. I think it’s just the right amount of skin to show. I finished getting dressed, looked in the mirror, and other then my cast I looked the part. It’s fall in Savannah, so it’s cool at night, I made sure to grab my leather jacket and hope I don’t lose it on our little outing.
I opened the door and called for Lucas.
“Hey Lucas, can you give me your opinion?”
Lucas peaked his head around the corner and smiled before he replied. “You look awesome, he’s already falling for you, I think you could walk out of the house in a paper bag and he would still love it.” He said with a smile, before the doorbell rang. “Coming.” He said as he winked and left to open the door. I closed the door and applied my lip gloss, before I opened the double doors I checked myself out in the mirror.
I would normally say that I look pretty hot but the cast on my arm is still annoying. I just wish it would go away. Maybe it’s the reason Gavin is falling for me.
I followed the voices that were loud in the kitchen. There was a lot of shop talk I was trying to eavesdrop on but couldn’t sneak up quiet enough to accomplish. The moment my leather boots squeaked Gavin looked up. I smiled and made my way into the kitchen, before I could even get there he was looking me up and down.
I smiled and said in a playful tone, “Lucas said I should wear a paper bag, but I went with this outfit instead.”
A slight giggle came out with the last word, which made my mind spin. I’ve never been a ditz before, what the hell has gotten into me? He moved forward laughing at what I said, and hugged me sweetly. He is such an opposite of what he looks like and what he does for a job. I mean you never would have guessed the local biker president was actually intelligent, sweet, and very caring. But here we are, and I’m falling hard. I’ll never have another case with another hot guy. But Agent Marshall did say, at any costs I was supposed to be getting the information.
Even though Gavin looked all sweet, and dreamy, there was just something about him that seemed off.
I took that as a que and said, “Is everything okay? You seem a little distracted.”
He smiled, rubbed my shoulder and said, “Yeah, I’m good, I was just telling Lucas about what was going on. I think I might have to replace one of my guys at the table. The vote is tomorrow. But I’m still not sure what his reaction will be. How’s your arm doing today?” I grasped my annoying cast, smiled
