him a fairly good judge of what was natural and what came straight from a bottle.
Nicholas was the only one who would have the audacity to pull off this prank, Sebastian was sure of that. But he was thoroughly enjoying the performance, moving to sit back comfortably and sip his neglected glass of cognac.
Caitlin felt his eyes penetrating through her as if branding her, stripping the little piece of clothing she had on with his piercing eyes. Instead of cringing at the thought, Caitlin seemed to bask under the intense attention he was giving her.
Their eyes met several times throughout her performance and every single time, Caitlin could feel the heightened awareness of the undeniable attraction between them. The air seemed to crackle with tension.
He’d planned to spend a quiet birthday, but now, he definitely welcomed the intrusion. He couldn’t help but wonder if Nicholas only hired her services to dance or did it come with strings attached…
At the thought, he felt himself grow hard. He had never been this intrigued about a woman before. He could often read them fairly well. But this one was different. Despite her seductive movements, he could sense a hint of vulnerability about her. Something didn’t quite fit the picture but he could not seem to put his finger on what it was.
As the song drew to a stop, Caitlin smiled at Sebastian, who clapped softly, the only sound breaking the silence now.
“Happy birthday, Sebastian.” Caitlin’s voice sounded warm and husky.
“Thank you, please have a seat.” Sebastian patted the empty space beside him. But instead of sitting, Caitlin walked towards the back to retrieve her coat and put it on before taking a seat.
Sebastian raised his eyebrow, his eyes questioning. Interesting. Caitlin simply gave him a tight smile in response. “I’m sorry, I don’t believe we’ve been introduced properly. My name is Sebastian, and you are…?” proffering his hand for a handshake.
    “I’m Katie.” Caitlin replied.
“Katie. Right. So I take it you’re a friend of Nicholas?” At her slight nod, he stood up and walked towards the bar. “Can I offer you anything, Katie? I was just enjoying my cognac.”
“I’d like a shot of vodka, please.” Caitlin responded. Thoughts were racing in her head. What now? She wouldn’t mind losing her virginity to this man. At 6’2”, Sebastian was a virile, good-looking guy that girls her age would definitely go after. Earning an additional five grand just to go to bed with him now sounded like a big joke. Women, young and old, would line up to have a man like this.
From the way he moved, Caitlin could tell he was confident with himself and his prowess with women. So how does one seduce a man like him ? Caitlin thought frantically.
Sebastian returned with her vodka, sitting beside her. His weight shifted the cushion, propelling her closer to him. “Oh.” Katie exclaimed as she planted her right hand on his chest for support.
“Easy now.” Sebastian said, covering her hand with his own. Caitlin could feel his body heat through his robe. Caitlin looked down to see her thumb touching the soft curls on his chest. Without thinking, Caitlin rubbed her thumb back and forth, loving the feel of the hair and the way it seemed to curl around her thumb.
Sebastian’s soft groan of pleasure made her look up in surprise. Their eyes met, Katie’s eyes wide with innocence. For a second, Sebastian thought ‘ this woman is good .’ With the way she was acting right now, one would think this was her first time to do this kind of thing. But the cynic in Sebastian knew better. He would just have to make sure he’d get his money’s worth or Nick’s, for that matter.
Katie held her breath as she looked straight into Sebastian’s dark brown eyes. She could read a trace of amusement in them, which made her draw away, pushing against Sebastian’s sturdy chest.
“Not so fast, missy.” Sebastian’s voice was like hot chocolate against the
