morning breath. I’m nowhere near done with you yet.”
    All of me gets tingly
from his words, but I can’t lose sight of my mission. “The
drapes, Nate. I need to close them before I accidentally see you.”
    I hear his sharp intake
of breath before he speaks. “Leave them.”
    “But just last night
you said I couldn’t look. Are you really ready now?”
    “I don’t know if
I’ll ever be fully ready, but just the fact that you’re thinking
of me before anything else makes it okay. You can look at me if you
want.”
    “If I want? Are you
insane? I’ve seen your chest so I knew what I was feeling with my
hands was on point. But when I felt you inside of me. Sweet Jesus, I wanted to see.”
    He laughs at me. “Thank
you for making me laugh, and being…well, you.”
    “You’re welcome,
but just so you know, I may be a trained spy but I have trouble
pretending to be anyone I’m not in real life.”
“What I see is what I
get. I knew that about you the first time we met.”
    “And you still think
I’m a good idea?”
    “Oh yeah. The best
I’ve ever had.”
    Since this is all going
so well, I ask the question I’ve wanted to since he let me touch
last night. “You said I could touch, and now look. Am I also
allowed to kiss, lick, and suck?”
    “Fuck yeah. You can
bite me, too, if the mood strikes.”
    “You didn’t even
think about that for a second.”
    “You said you want to
suck me, what’s there to think about?”
    “Then why don’t you
lie back and let me enjoy myself for a few minutes.”
    “I was hoping to be
inside of you this morning. I need to redeem myself.”
    “You’re a fit guy,
I’m sure you have enough stamina to come multiple times.”
    I see him flinch, but
he puts a smile on his face almost immediately. I’m not going for
fake smiles, with a side of pain, so I sit back on my heels, while I
take his face in my hands.
    “I don’t know what
I said wrong—and you don’t have to tell me—but do you still
want…you know?”
    “Your mouth on me?
Uh, yeah. That should never even be a question. Have you lost your
mind, woman?”
    “I just wanted…never
mind,” I tell him as I drop my hands and start to pull the covers
off of him.
    It’s his turn to cup
my cheeks now. “I know, Jade. I appreciate your concern more than
anything. What I won’t appreciate is if you try and censor yourself
because you’re worried about hurting me. You don’t hurt me—you
heal me. With your words, and your love. Even your hands last night
felt so amazing on me, and I didn’t think that was possible.”
    I smile and push him
onto his back. When I slide back the sheet, I nearly faint. I felt
him last night, so I know he’s big and thick, but damn. He’s big ,
and thick . I lick my
lips and look up at him. He’s got an eyebrow quirked, and a smug
smile on his face.
    “If you didn’t have
every right to look smug right now, I’d smack you.”
    “Are you saying that
you like my cock, Angel?”
    “Maybe a little,” I
say as I swirl my tongue over the tip. “Or maybe a whole fucking
lot.”
I take him as far into
my mouth as possible while he practically flies off the bed, cursing
and saying my name. Oh yeah, it feels good to tame the bad boy. Even
as I’m starting to realize that he’s not as bad as he wants
everyone to think. I’m going to find out his secrets, and then I’m
going to really help him heal. He deserves to be happy, and so do I.

    Nate
    If fucking was an
Olympic sport, I would’ve definitely medaled today. And so would
Jade. I wake up to the sun high in the sky outside, and an empty bed
beside me. She better not have gone out without waking me. It’s too
dangerous for her to be running around this city without back-up.
    I run downstairs and
find her at the kitchen counter. She’s chewing on a pen, and
looking like she wants to curl up somewhere and cry. I come up behind
her, and pull her into my arms.
    “What’s wrong?”
    “I was just looking
at my
