not to look into his piercing eyes.
“You do, otherwise you wouldn’t have made a bitchy comment.”
Raven didn’t reply. She looked left and right, but nobody was there. She was alone with Beck, and none of her friends could help her.
“I’ll tell you,” he took a step closer. “Kissing is too intimate.”
“So sticking your dick in somebody isn’t?” she asked before she could stop herself.
“Not in the way you mean it, it’s not. I don’t have body contact either; you want to know why?”
She shook her head. Her heart was pounding in her ears. She wasn’t afraid of Beck, she knew he wouldn’t hurt her, but there was something in his eyes that told her he wasn’t telling her his reasons to get a rise out of her that time.
“I’ll tell you anyway,” he stepped closer again, almost touching her. “Holding somebody means sharing feelings. Feelings that I don’t have for them. Kissing implies those feelings too. I’m not giving anybody any reason to think there could be anything more from me than a one-off.”
Raven was speechless. He’d practically told her he never slept with the same girl twice, and wasn’t interested in anything else.
That couldn’t be true. There had to be something there inside him. She wanted to know.
“So you don’t have feelings for anybody you sleep with?”
“No. It’s just fucking, Raven. A way to get off without getting attached,” he said, closing the gap.
His body connected with hers, and she felt his upper abs press into her breasts.
She gasped as she felt a throbbing between her thighs. Nobody had made her feel that, even when having sex, and fully clothed too.
“You’re body is touching mine, right now,” she breathed. Scared that if she took a deep breath back in, she’d inhale him and be putty in his hands; like she almost was.
“But we’re not fucking, Raven.”
Beck raised his hand, and stroked a finger down her cheek, leaving a trail of burning flesh behind.
Raven closed her eyes, and swallowed.
“Remember what I said; It’d be the best thing to happen. I mean that, Raven.”
With those words, Beck stepped back out of her space and left her a tortured, aroused wreck in the library.
“Imagine if one of us could get him to kiss us,” One of the girls said, excitedly.
“Yes! The first one that gets to kiss Beck Traynor would be famous on campus.”
The group of girls giggled like high school kids. Raven, and Ava, shook their heads.
“I know I’ve said this before, but I’m going to say it again,” Ava stopped as she spoke. “It makes sense. If you want to have sex without people getting their feelings hurt when you don’t want anything else, then why would you kiss them? Why would you want to hold them tight or even cuddle afterwards?”
Raven rubbed her head with her hand. “I know, I get it. I just think it’s meaningless.”
“Exactly! Meaningless sex. Getting bent over and taken as hard as you can handle isn’t exactly romantic,” Ava said as she shrugged a shoulder. “It’s much better than a hand job, I imagine. I know I prefer sex to manual.” Ava grinned and wiggled her eyebrows.
“I don’t know, Ay. My one ‘accidental’ time was better than any sex I’ve had.”
Ava burst out laughing. “My God! I still don’t understand how you could accidentally masturbate.”
“Shh!” Raven put her hand over Ava’s mouth. “It was one time, and I didn’t realize what I was doing.”
“Getting yourself off as you slept; priceless,” Ava giggled.
“Thank you, friend,” Raven stuck her tongue out at her so-called ‘bestie’.
Raven had been having sexy dreams. She hadn’t admitted the full extent to Ava, but she’d dreamt of the incident in the library with Beck. Instead of walking away, he’d stripped her clothes and had taken her on the desk. It had been the best orgasm of her life. Even her ex-boyfriend hadn’t done it for her. Sure he’d been loving and she’d often reached the peak,
