damn sure. He thought the best part of the kiss was when she tried to hide the moan that escaped her lips. It was only a matter of time before he’d seal the deal of making her completely his. He had every intention of fucking her until she agrees to be his property. Hell, by the time he’s done with her, she’ll be begging to be owned. First they needed to eat and then go to the compound. He’d save the fun stuff for later.

Chapter Nine
They hadn’t even entered the compound yet and Grace could feel herself leaning towards Talon for security and comfort. She didn’t know anything about his world except for the small amount he had shared with her so far. However, what they had been through together concerning his court case was already building a comradery between them.
They exited the SUV and he pulled her close to his body with his arm around her waist. He leaned down and whispered a threat into her ear. “Remember what I told you, lawyer lady. Don’t leave my side. You’re way out of your league here and things can get real fucking dangerous, real fucking quick.” He turned her in his direction and held her by her shoulders while he looked down on her. It made her realize how small she was next to him.
“You’re going to see things here tonight that you’ve never seen before. This is my family. We live side by side, eat side by side, fight side by side, and fuck side by side. There is no shame here. You stick close to me and you’ll be fine.”
She nodded her head, acknowledging what he said, but nothing could have prepared her for the things she’d not only see tonight, but also experience. As they entered the large gated area, there was an open, yet enclosed, courtyard with gates big enough to drive a large truck through. This place was huge, a compound large enough to house all the brothers in the club. This really was a community, a separate entity from the rest of the world. A surge of something like pride coursed through her as the realization that she had been allowed into a world most were forbidden access to engulfed her. She couldn’t help but feel privileged to be part of something much bigger than she was. A feeling of comradery was in the air and she basked in it. Family was something she’d never been privy to. After her dad walked out on her mom and her, it was just the two of them against the world. Instinctively she knew that these people would have her back as long as she looked out for them in the realm of any legal issues they might encounter. She was certain they had more than their fair share of brushes with the law.
Talon’s voice pulled Grace from her thoughts. “What’s your poison, baby girl? Beer on tap or something stronger?”
“Beer is fine,” she answered. She needed something to take the edge off and she gladly took the red plastic cup he offered her.
    “So, this is lawyer lady.”
She looked over to see another burly biker with the same type of vest, laden with patches, that Talon wore. His striking blue eyes shone out from beneath his long, blonde, unruly hair.
“This is Scooter. Scooter, this is Grace but I have just dubbed her as lawyer lady . It seems to have stuck and has a nice ring to it.”
“Damn, Talon, you did good—good with naming her and finding her. She’s fucking hot, dude.”
“Actually, Tiny did. He gave her to me. She is still coming to terms with it though.”
“Ain’t got no choice, babe. We take what we want around here and make no apologies for it. You’ve been claimed, girl, so you may as well get that through your head.” Scooter only reaffirmed what she had been told all along.
She looked up at the man addressing her and though the club’s way of thinking was foreign to her, she could tell by the look on his face that he was dead serious.
“Nice meeting ya. Anybody who would help out Talon the way you did is cool with me.”
“You heard that, didn’t you? You’re property now—my fucking property,” Talon growled
