Everything added
to the intensity and the desperate need within her.
    Her moaning turned into a
scream of passion, and finally Rose lost control. “Oh yes. Fuck me
harder, oh yes, yes,
yesssss …”

    ~~~
    Walking slowly down the hall, a tall woman
stopped by each door for a moment. She was taking an inventory of
the night - of who was where. Someone had to ensure that everyone
was in the right place at the right time. And doing the right
things to each other.
    One particular door had her nodding in
approval. She had neared the suite and couldn't miss the female
voice screaming in passion, echoing from inside. A pleased smile
crossed her lips as she strolled by. “Josh is really doing a good
job with that woman. I’m kinda jealous.” She kept her voice low as
she checked a small box on her clipboard.
    Her path took her to the open foyer section
of the floor, near the elevator doors. Still smiling, she hummed to
herself and reached for the button, but stopped as she glanced to
one corner and saw Josh himself sitting on one of the elegant
chairs. He was poring over a magazine with his legs comfortably
crossed, one ankle on the other knee.
    Puzzled she walked over to him. “What on
earth are you doing here?”
    “Uh, reading Cosmopolitan.”
    “Why?”
    “Because it’s got an article about women's
greatest sex fantasies. Figured I should do a little research. I
could learn a few helpful things, you know?”
    “Weren’t you just…I mean aren’t you supposed
to be…” She paused with a confused frown. “Who the hell's in the
suite fucking your appointment?”
    “Probably that big wall of a man that was
standing outside her room. Her bodyguard I think he said he
was.”
    “Obviously he doesn’t just guard her body.
From the sound of things, I may have to see if he wants a job
here.”
    Josh chuckled and settled himself in the
chair. “He won't. He was so hot for her you could damn near see his
ears light up. I doubt there's anything you could offer him that
would drag him away from her.”
    “Really?” She sighed. Sitting down in a
matching chair across from Josh, she reached out a hand toward the
magazine. “Gimme that. Maybe there's something in there about men's
fantasies.”
    He raised an eyebrow but obediently passed
her the colorful pages. “I doubt it. Let's face it, we're simple
creatures at heart. Our fantasy? Give us the woman of our dreams,
naked, and we're content.” He paused. “A beer, a blowjob and a
winning baseball team helps, too.”
    Another muffled scream came from the suite,
loud enough that they both heard it.
    The woman smiled. “Substitute a sale at
Nordstrom’s for the baseball and white wine for the beer. Other
than that, we’re more alike than I’d guessed.” She grinned. “Well
my walkthrough is done. You want to get a drink at the bar?”
    Josh smiled back. “I thought you’d never
ask, Paula. Maybe after, we can…”
    She looked at him and lifted an eyebrow. “Oh
no you don’t, Josh. Remember I’m your boss. I won’t fall into your
bed again. The last time I made that mistake, the other guys said I
showed favoritism to an employee.”
    Another scream of passion echoed down the
hall from Rose Jackson’s room.
    Josh pointed in the direction of the moans
and glanced at Paula again. “It seemed to work out for them…”
    THE END
    So Rose discovered passion with her hired
help who took guarding his boss’s body to new levels of enthusiasm.
Good times were had by all. Mostly. But then again, that’s life,
isn’t it? Full of ups and downs, comings and goings… And if you’d
like to catch up on some of those goings, not to mention the
comings…check out the excerpt below. It’s from another short
novella published by S.L. Carpenter and Sahara Kelly. There are two
quick tales here, one about a couple who have to overcome a few
quirky problems before they can actually get it on, and the other
about a desolate and lonely coffee shop on Christmas Eve.
