fingers down her cheek and to her collar bone. “I…made you some coffee.” She bit her bottom lip as he lowered his sweet lips to hers.
“Coffee is good,” h e said against her mouth and she wanted to pull him into a deep passionate kiss, but he stepped away from her reach.
She was screaming inside, but on the outside she just walked past him into the now steamy bathroom. After a five minute shower she was blow drying her hair. Her hair was normally straight, but she didn’t like to leave the house with a wet head. It was something her grandmother would always tell her. She glanced at herself in the mirror and smiled. She knew she looked amazing in the dress and she loved it. She’d seen a similar dress on her favorite TV show, True Blood , and she knew she needed to find one. It took her a month, but she did and she never regretted buying it.
She walked out of the bathroom without looking at the kitchen . She felt him staring at her and she loved it. She walked to her closet to grab her red wedge shoes that tied on the ankle.
“You look fucking amazing.”
She smiled as she turned around to face the man she had dreamt about for months. “Why thank you, kind sir.” She walked to the bed and sat down to put her shoes on.
H e sat on the floor in front of her and took one of her shoes in his hand and glanced up at her. “Can I put them on you?”
S he nodded. No one had ever offered to put her shoes on before. She looked down when she felt his lips on her skin. He laid a tender kiss on her ankle bone and then did the same thing to the other side. Unhurriedly he placed the shoe on her left foot and tied the shoe around her ankle. She trembled as his fingertips gazed her skin. He repeated the same thing on her other foot, and when he was done he looked up at her and smiled, but his eyes were darker with passion.
“That was nice, ” she said and he chuckled.
“Yes nice.” H e shook his head, which caused his hair to move and she wanted to run her fingers through it. “Where is your phone? I want to add my number in it.”
She got off of the bed and crossed the room to her purse. She had tossed it on the floor the night before. She reached inside and pulled out her iPhone Five . She turned around and handed it to him. He took it and the screen turned on as he swiped his finger across it.
He punched in a few numbers and handed her phone back to her. “Now you have my number. Call me so I have yours.”
She did and the Doctor Who theme song started to play. She arched her eyebrows at him. “Doctor Who fan?”
He laughed, and shrugged. “I don’t kn ow what you’re talking about.” He winked at her. “I need to go, but I will see you later.” he leaned in toward her and she welcomed his kiss.
She sighed as she watched him walk out of her bedroom . She wanted to kick herself in the ass for thinking she wouldn’t fall head over heels for him. Grabbing her purse she headed out her front door heading to work.

Stefan walked out of the crappy apartment building. He had been to the building many times before, usually to arrest drug dealers or prostitutes . He hated the thought of his Noel living there. She should be somewhere nice and he knew after his background check, that her husband came from money. He wondered why she wasn’t living better, she deserve the very best. He walked to his black SUV and started it up.
With one last look at the apa rtment building he drove toward the station and to his partner. He had never been so happy in his life that she had called in, or it would have been her that would have gotten out of the car to arrest Gretchen Elliott, the woman who had been lingering on his mind since Christmas. After their one night together he’d wanted more, but he didn’t want to be the one to ask for it. They’d agreed that what they would share would only be for one night, and nothing more. But when he’d seen her again, he felt his heart leap, and he knew that it
