everyday word.
“He’ll show you.  I won’t tell you and spoil his surprise.”
    “And the last one?”
    “Porter.  He was a mercenary.”
Jayn made a face.  “Like a man who killed people for money?”
“He fought wars for money.  And he’s trained a lot of other men to do the same thing.  Now he’s helping rich people set up good security systems.  He knows how to get through any security system, so he’s the right guy to set them up and keep other people out.”
“I see.”  She didn’t like the idea of being with a man like that.  He seemed too dangerous to her, but she didn’t say the words aloud.
“Go ahead and wash up again.  I’ll be ready to walk you to Dimitri’s house by the time you’re done.”  He rolled to his side on the edge of the bed and sat up in one smooth motion.
She hurried into the bathroom and used the same washcloth to clean herself up before carefully rinsing it and placing it on the counter again.  Then she rushed back into the bedroom where Gus was dressed and holding out her dress to her.  “Go ahead and put this on.”  He frowned down at the shoes she’d been given to wear for the auction.  “Those are not good for your feet.”
She shrugged.  “They’re the only pretty shoes I’ve ever owned.”  She smiled as she looked down at the high heel s.  “I like them.”
“We’ll get you some shoes that are good for your feet that you’ll like just as much.”  He watched as she dressed and slipped her feet into the lavender pumps.  “Are you ready?”
She nodded, really unsure of whether she was ready or not.  At least she’d felt she’d known a little bit about Gus when she’d gone to his bed.  It wasn’t the same case with…Dimitri.  Why couldn’t she remember the man’s name?
Gus led her down a flight of stairs and into a tunnel that was well-lit.  “Porter insisted all of the houses be connected by tunnels and bomb proof ed.  He’s certain someone will try to kill the four of us to get to you.”
Jayn smiled slightly.  “Is he…a bit obsessive about security?”
Gus laughed.  “He’s as obsessed with security as I am with belly buttons.”
She shook her head.  “Then he’s going to be a real treat, isn’t he?”
They hurried along the tunnel until they got to another flight of stairs.  “This is Dimitri’s house.”  Gus pulled her to him and kissed her softly.  “Be good.”  He turned and walked away while she went to the door and knocked softly.
She felt so strange being alone as she waited for a man to come to the door and get her so he could stick his penis inside her.  How had she gotten herself into this situation anyway?
The door opened, and Dimitri grabbed her arm, pulling her through his house.  Jayn saw different high tech gadgets that she didn’t recognize in every room they passed.  Finally he took her into his bedroom.  The bed was huge, and he had her sit on the edge of it while he knelt at her feet.  “I’m going to wait until tomorrow to show you the holodeck.  I’m just too horny to do it tonight.”  He took one foot into his lap, rubbing up and down her calf.
“Horny?”  She’d never heard the word and had no idea what on earth it could possibly mean.
    “Frisky?  Sexually needy?”
She blushed and nodded.  “I see.”
He laughed.  “I wonder how long you’ll be blushing with four of us taking you at every opportunity.”  He carefully removed first one shoe and then the other.  “I know you don’t know much about me, so while I strip you, I’ll talk quickly.  I’m an inventor.  I went to the University of Montana to be an engineer, but I knew from a young age that I would end up doing exactly what I do.”  He took her hand and helped her to her feet.  “I’m thirty-three years old, and I’ve never had any kind of desire for men.  I’ve never seen a naked woman, except in holos and old movies.  I love, love, love old musicals.  I’ve seen
