was exactly what I needed, him picking up right where Connor had left off. He took me like a piston, hard and fast, and I could feel his need for me in the tips of his fingers digging in to my waist, pulling me back on to him with every hard thrust.
Connor reached one hand underneath me and played with my nipples as I gasped and moaned against his chest, lost in the new experience of Marcus inside of me. Marcus came off as cold and distant, but I could feel his lust for me. He kept himself bottled up, but there was no denying that he wanted me. And I wanted him. Badly.
I felt my orgasm building, and pressed my fingernails hard in to the firm muscles of Connor's shoulders, holding on as Marcus pushed harder and deeper for his own orgasm. My whole body clenched and shuddered then as my orgasm wracked me, stealing my breath away.
And with a last final thrust Marcus emptied himself inside of me, filling me up again with more seed.
Exhausted, and completely satiated, I collapsed on to the bed beside Connor, a hand and leg still draped across his body. I glanced back just in time to see Marcus starting to put his pants back on, his cock only just beginning to shrink.
"Are you leaving?" I said, propping myself up on one elbow.
    Marcus nodded.
    "Stay," I said, "please."
Marcus glanced at us, and hesitated, but I could tell by the look in his eyes that he wanted to. As much as he might pretend to be emotionless he wanted to be touched and loved just as much as I did. He just ignored it. Or at least tried to.
"You cant work forever," I said, "you need to sleep at some point."
He let his pants drop to the floor. Maybe it was the excuse I had given him, of needing sleep, rather than needing to be close to another person. I didn't care, I just wanted him in the bed beside me. I wanted both of them beside me. I was most definitely getting behind the idea of being shared.
I kept my leg draped over Connor's body, but leaned away and put my hand on Marcus' chest, and placed a chaste little kiss on his lips. "Thank you for staying," I said, and smiled. And he smiled back.

Chapter Four

I wasn't sure what time it was when I awoke to find Connor gone from the bed beside me. Marcus was still there, asleep, and if I hadn't seen it I might not have believed it. He was mortal just like the rest of us after all.
    But Connor was gone.
I climbed out of the bed and left the room, padding down the long hallway in my bare feet, back to Connor's side of the mansion, to see if maybe he had gone back to his own bed for the night. But if he'd done that I would have assumed that he would wake me, which had me worried. Maybe I was overreacting and he was just hungry though. Or had gone to the bathroom. Or something. But I had a bad feeling I couldn't shake.
When I finally got back to Connor's room I could see the light on, and I got a feeling of apprehension. Why was he here, and not still in bed?
I cracked open the door, but he was already looking at me. He must have heard me, or smelled me, before I ever got close. He wasn't just looking though, he was glaring.
"What's wrong?" I said in a small, quiet voice.
He just shook his head and started pacing.
I pushed through the door so that I was in the room. "Connor talk to me," I said.
"If you want to be with Marcus then go be with him," Connor said, stopping his pacing.
    "What's that supposed to mean?"
"First you go to him for help with shifting, then when we were having sex you only came when Marcus had sex with you. And then when he was leaving, you practically beg him to stay, and fawn all over him when he does. I'm not an idiot, I can see what's happening."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. "You have to know that's not what I want."
"I don't care, he's the alpha, you would have ended up with him anyway, so just go," Connor pointed at the door to emphasize his dismissal, "don't make this harder than it has to be."
I shook my head emphatically, "no I'm not leaving, this is where I
