    After a few minutes, a woman came to the front door and looked out through the glass.  She appeared to see the sedan, and opened the door.  I was startled to see that it was Yong, looking groomed and proper once again.  She walked directly to the waiting sedan, opened the passenger door, and slid into the front seat.  The interior light showed the driver to be an Asian man.  Yong gave him a quick kiss on the lips and turned toward the back seat.  A small child popped up and reached for her.  She hugged and kissed the child.  Then the interior light went off as she pulled the door shut, and the car slipped away into the night.
