as Gisele fell into a tantalizing climax. Her skin tingled and her pussy clenched. Then she relaxed into the water on Micah’s lap. He grabbed a fistful of hair and tipped her head back. Then he raked his tongue under her chin, down her neck, and between her breasts.
“I need more,” Micah said. “Let’s go to bed.”
Gisele touched his sexy mouth with her fingertip and he sucked it seductively. With her voice hardly above a whisper, she said, “Yes…please.”
    *****
That night Micah took her over and over. It was like trying to make up for the time they’d been apart. But more than that, it was a deep-seated need for each other that couldn’t be satisfied. Each interlude fed Gisele’s desire, so she wanted him more, not less. It was nearly dawn before she fell asleep in his arms.
In the morning, Gisele cuddled next to Micah, reluctant to get up. It was past eleven and hunger called. She knew that if she wanted food, Micah must be starved. She slid out of his arms and got out of bed.
Gisele grinned down at him. “If we’re going to keep up this way, you’ll have to feed me.”
Micah laughed. “Just what I was thinking.”
They quickly dressed and got ready to go. Gisele had an underwear issue, since Micah had ripped hers off the day before. But that was easily solved. She made a detour to the hotel gift shop for a lingerie purchase, then went to the ladies’ room to handle her dilemma.
“Ready?” Micah said with a lascivious look.
Gisele laced her arm through his. “I can go out now.”
A block away, Micah spotted a restaurant. It looked upscale, but that didn’t dissuade him. He took her inside and they were escorted to a table by the window. It was a sunny day and the streets were bright, almost cheerful.
They read the menu while the waiter went to get their coffee. “I’m famished,” Gisele said. “Strawberry waffles sound great.”
Micah put aside the menu, and when the waiter returned they placed orders. Even the steak didn’t take long to prepare, and the meals were served promptly. The server arrived with the plates just in time for them to order coffee refills.
Gisele felt life coming back into her body as the caffeine worked its magic. The waffles were lightly crisp and, to her surprise, the strawberries were fresh. She was intent on her own food, and didn’t pay attention to Micah. But when she looked up, he was halfway through his steak.
    “Good?”
    “You know it,” Micah said.
Then Micah’s phone vibrated on the table and he lifted it to glance at the screen. Gisele was wide awake then. She knew he had a court hearing coming up, and fully expected him to get the news about it soon.
Gisele listened to Micah’s responses, unable to tell what was discussed. But she was sure it was the attorney. “That’s good to hear,” he said. “A bit unexpected, but nice to know.” He talked for a minute or two, then ended the call.
    “Your attorney?”
    “It was.” Micah looked pleased.
    “What did he say?”
“I was waiting for him to call, because I was supposed to have a hearing before a judge. That would have been tomorrow, but there’s a change,” Micah said. “It seems that Vik isn’t pressing charges, so there’s no case.”
    “Really?”
“Yes, the police spoke to him in the hospital and he said it was just a misunderstanding.”
Gisele nodded. “Yeah, I’ll bet.” She looked at Micah. “The mob doesn’t want to be involved in any legal battle.”
    “That’s understandable.”
“They have their own ways of handling misunderstandings ,” Gisele said.
“Yes, I’m sure they do.” Micah fiddled with his fork. “Plus, I have a feeling that Alek doesn’t want you giving statements or having to show up in court.”
“That too,” Gisele said. “He’d avoid that if possible, so I’m sure he had a talk with Vik.”
“And Vik listens to your brother.”
“So it would seem.” Gisele added more cream to her coffee. “The whole incident was a
