since she was no stranger herself.  Instead, focusing on the fact that she had sex with both of them. She had sex with Russell and Jason, came twice, and was now lying in bed with them like they were in some sort of bizarre relationship.
"What's wrong with Laurie?" Jason raised himself up on his elbow.
"What are we doing?" She needed to ask. Maybe this was their way of saying goodbye.
"Something we should have done a long time ago." Jason nodded.
Not sure what his answer meant, she twisted around to Russell.
"Let's not question it tonight. We all wanted this." Russell smoothed her hair down. "We have the weekend. Tomorrow I'll make breakfast."
"That will take five hours." Jason laughed. "Let's sleep and we'll get bagels in the AM, and don't say you're not eating carbs, I've now seen and felt all there is, and it's awesome."
"I agree." Russell found her hand.
Not sure if she should say thank you, or that this week she was eating carbs, or that Russell's breakfasts tended to turn more into lunch, she settled herself on the bed, though she was unsettled.
Apparently, these men didn't hear her when she said she was leaving.  Maybe they thought sex would prevent her from leaving, or they chose to ignore her. Since there was no future beyond tonight there was no point in asking.
Jason held her, and Russell encompassed her from behind. Their position reminding her of the last sculpture she saw before running out of the gallery.
Somehow her dream was handed to her, maybe even better, but she knew what happened to dreams when she woke up. They vanished.

Chapter Four

Russell smiled at the hand tickling its way down his arm, and moaned to give Lauren audible permission to continue.  His morning erection swelled as the night before rewound in his mind.  He questioned Jason’s plan from its inception, still did, but he didn’t see a way around it without losing one of them.  He also needed to face facts.  Last night was the best sex he ever had, even if it was with his two best friends.
With his needs overpowering his exhaustion, he lifted his hand, put it over hers and intertwined their fingers.
Wrong fingers.  Too thick, too rough, too long.  He opened his eyes right into Jason’s.
“I’m horny.”  Jason squeezed his hand.
“Where’s Lauren?”  Russell swiped his hand away and sat up.  The room was fuzzy and he reached over to the nightstand to find his glasses.  The moment they were on everything became clear.  “Oh man.”  The door hung on one hinge, clothes were tossed everywhere, a table was turned on its side, the bedding was in various states of disarray and the room reeked of sex.
“I would say she went on calls.” The bed creaked when Jason sat up.  “I mean she always goes to work on Saturday morning.  Lots of doctor’s offices are open now.”
Lauren never left her bed before ten o'clock on Saturday, let alone be of the house at eight.  Her absence this morning, coupled with the obvious, deliberate act of leaving without waking them, told him they made a grave error last night.  If she wanted to leave before, now she had every reason. "I think your plan was a bunch of crap. We should have talked to her first."  As he turned to Jason, his hand brushed against his cock.  "Damn it."
"There's too much talking in this world. We needed to act."  Jason raised his chin.  "Let me see."
"See what?"  Russell fell back on the pillow.  Again, he needed to be the one to fix Jason's plan.  He always played the role of the human mop.
"Your woody.  We can't really do anything until we take care of business, our heads won't be clear."  Jason grabbed the edge of the sheet.  "I'll show you mine."
"I don't want to see yours."  He squeezed the bridge of his nose and closed his eyes, trying to focus on how to preserve anything with the one woman who understood him.
"We were supposed to be inside her right now."  Jason adjusted his pillow.  "I wanted to go first this
