your dumb idea!"
"Yo, get your disrespectful ass outta here," Nico
barked, marching towards Supreme.
"Nico, chill! Don't forget there are kids up in here, mainly
your daughter," Genesis reminded him, grabbing his shoulder.
"I'll leave but my daughter is coming with me."
    "She's not your daughter!"
"Aaliyah is his daughter, and don't you ever say that shit again!" Precious snarled, making her position clear.
"Come on Supreme let's go. We'll be back tomorrow to
get Aaliyah. Make sure you have her ready," she snapped at
Nico, as they made their exit, before being stopped by one
person she dreaded seeing.

"Precious, I hope you're not leaving. I know I'm late
but I was hoping to speak with you."
"Quentin, I have nothing to say to you! And now
that you're here, I couldn't be leaving at a better time. Now
move out my way!" Quentin stepped to the side clearing
the path for Precious and Supreme to leave.
"Dare I even ask what that shit was about," Chantal
was dying to know.
"How `bout I tell you over some champagne."
"CoCo, you are speaking my language. Lead the way."
"Genesis, do you all want to come too?"
"You go head. T-Roc and I will meet up with you and
Chantal later. Is that cool with you, T-Roc?"
"Yep. Chantal ride with CoCo. I'll call to see where
you at when we're on our way."
"Alright baby." Chantal gave her husband a kiss on the
lips and hurriedly caught up with CoCo. She was looking
forward to hearing all the juicy details of the love triangle
gone terribly wrong.
"Nico, you good?" Genesis asked, after the women
left.
"Yeah, I just hate that motherfucker. He always tries to
ruin some shit. He needs to accept that Aaliyah is my daughter."
"True, but you have to accept that she's his daughter
too. Aaliyah is a lucky little girl. She has two fathers that both love her very much."

"True, but that nigga need to show me some respect.
He have to deal wit' the fact that I ain't going nowhere...
never!"
"Nico, I believe Supreme knows that which is the reason
he has such a problem with you," Quentin explained.
"He needs to get over it."
"Maybe in time but enough about Supreme. Where
is my beautiful granddaughter? Since my daughter wants
nothing to do with me at least I have Aaliyah."
"They're all upstairs listening to a bedtime story. She'll
be happy to see you."
"Then let me go upstairs, but Nico, put that Supreme
mess behind you. You're a father now, that's all that matters."
Those were Quentin's last words to Nico before heading
upstairs. Nico felt blessed and proud to have a child especially
by a woman he would always love, but that fact didn't change
the anger he harbored for Supreme.

"Thank you for what you said to Nico." Those were
the first words Supreme had said to Precious since they
had left the party. He was completely quiet during the ride
back to the hotel and she was beginning to think Supreme
was angry with her for leaving and not taking Aaliyah with
them.
"I meant it! Nico had no right to say what he did.
Aaliyah is your daughter."
"It felt good hearing you say that though."
"Supreme, is that what has been wrong in our marriage? You didn't believe that I still saw you as Aaliyah's
father after the blood test results came back."

    "Maybe, I don't know"
"Yeah, Nico might be the biological father but that
doesn't change the fact you raised and loved Aaliyah for all
that time. You all share a bond that no test can change. In
my eyes you are Aaliyah's father. That's not to say that Nico
doesn't have the right to be a big part of her life but you're
my husband and we're a family."
"Baby, I've been afraid for so long that that wasn't going
to be the case but my pride wouldn't let me admit that to you.
You and Nico share this history that I'm not a part of and now
you share a child together. It's like my family is slipping away."
"Don't you understand I chose you and I will always
choose you! Nico is my past. You are my present and my
future."
    "I
