love, demanded “What the hell took you so long?”
He laughed and squeezed her tighter. “I had to find which Realm you were chucked into, which I did. Although I was sure I was in the right place--in the right cave because I found a piece of your clothing, I couldn’t find you.” He sighed, “Then it came to me, just where you were.” He teasingly dangled her torn top in front of her eyes.
“I need a bath and a new wardrobe,” Jazz said as she allowed her legs to release his hips and planted her feet on the ground.
“You can do that with your mind,” he said and kissed her ear and then her neck and remarked, “You are filthy my love.”
Ignoring this as being filthy didn’t deter his kisses or his caresses. She said, “So wait…how could you have been here in this cave and found a piece of my clothing without my seeing you?”
“Because Pestale not only sent you off to die in this savage Realm, but he wanted to make certain I wouldn’t find you by sending you into the past. You are in the past once again.”
“How is it he can manipulate time when he is only an Unseelie?”
“He must have some ancient relic that once belonged to the Dark King. I am only glad that our Orb of Time was able to transport me back here.”
“So the Orb of Time can still arrange time travel?”
“Apparently only into the past but not the future, and in a limited way because of the curvature of the Earth.” He kissed her lightly on the lips and whispered, “We need to meet up with the others. But first, my Jazmine Decker, we are going to my retreat, where I can take my time scrubbing you clean in the shower…” he kissed her fully then, his tongue teasing her for a response and she gave it to him.
She found once again that everything she had become was acceptable because she would be with Trevor forever.
He groaned as he set her apart and she could see a slight hesitation as he said, “I am sorry to tell you, my love, that matters in your human world have deteriorated, and we will be needed to do our part.”
“Pestale got through, didn’t he? They got through and Pestale’s army must be…”
He put a finger to her lips to hush her, “First things first. I have not been apprised of the situation yet, as I was preoccupied with finding you. Soon, we will meet with the Queen and she will give us our specific mission.”
“What about my Frankie? Is she okay?”
He smiled. “She is of course safely on Tir…”
“And Tir? Is the Isle of Tir still safe?”
He grimaced. “Pestale, his brothers, Morrigu and their army will die in a blaze of agony before ever they have a chance to look towards Tir!” He squeezed her and held her close as he said with a soft meaning in his voice, “Are you ready?”
“Am I ever,” she answered and laid her head on his chest, as his shoulder was too high. She wondered fleetingly if Fae females displayed affection and need. Then she thought of Ete and Breslyn and smiled.
She did hope however, that as she became more and more Fae, she would not lose her human side.
“Hold onto me, Jazmine Decker. Hold on, and don’t you ever let go. Got it?”
“Got it big boy,” she said and did just that as they shifted.
    ~*~
The hot water from the many jets in Trevor’s huge shower stall in his private lodge on the Isle of Tir, eased the mental ache she still felt from her experience. Her Fae blood had already healed her physical bruises.
She soaped herself down and put her face to the jet stream of water, when a slight draft made her turn to find Trevor, gloriously naked and stepping inside with her. He was magnificent. It was as simple as that.
Everything about him stunned her senses. His size, of course, but the way he moved, the way he held himself, and the way he touched her.
An intake of breath was all she had time for, as he took her into his arms and kissed her with a passion that would not be denied.
While he held her high above the marbled floor of the shower, she
