Noah rolled over onto his back and pulled Micah into his arms. Both men laid there in a sleepy haze for several moments.
"Noah, what happened? You don't have to leave me again, do you?" Micah asked quietly as he leaned up on his elbows and looked down into Noah's beautiful, serene face.
Noah looked at Micah and smiled, "I was taken to Him. He knew what had happened, and what I had done to alter your fate," Noah whispered as he rubbed his hands up and down Micah's soft back.
"Was He angry with you?" Micah asked as he traced Noah's full lips lightly with his index finger.
"No. He is a very loving and forgiving God. He knew of my love for you and yours for me. He said everything happens for a purpose. He told me He loved me right before He took away my wings and told me I was to live a mortal life. He hugged me, and told me to have a happy life with you, and that He would see us in fifty or sixty years or so."
Micah laughed and hugged his fallen Angel to him.
Micah silently thanked Him for giving him a long life with Noah.
Several moments later Micah raised his head and looked at Noah again.
"So what's Heaven really like?" He asked.
Noah gave him a dazzling smile, leaned up and kissed Micah softly on his lips. He pulled away and cupped his Sweet One's face in his soft, strong hands.
"Heaven is right here in your arms."
