completely at ease. Sharon watched him from across the table, her mind on the conversations back in the banquet hall. Jake stared at her, a knowing smile on his face.
“So, what was that about? Why people talk so much about you?” she asked him.
“Finally, you asked what had been nagging you since we left the banquet hall.” He said and smiled at her. “Well, you see if it was someone else in your position today, they would never have gotten any answers from me but since we have become friends, I will tell you today that I have never told anyone. The media writes crap about me, calls me by the names of “The Ironman” or worse “The Man Who Does not sleep”. Time after time, there have been other names associated with my name as well but I am accustomed to them now.” He took a sip of wine in front of him.
“My mother is Sarah Mitchell.” He said and grimaced when he watched her eyes turn into huge saucers at his mother’s name. Every woman of North America worshipped her like an idol; he had dated many women who were crazy about her ideas and books so he knew the charm. He didn’t tell everyone about his mother but there was something about this girl in front him, something about her that he wanted to bare his soul to her.
“I’ve read her books. She’s superb.” Sharon said.
“Yes, I’ve heard those same words from hundreds of her fans. She is the only person in this world for whom I could do anything.” He said with emotion. Sharon held his hand across the table and squeezed it.
“I know.” She said. As she stared into his eyes, there was an exchange of emotions so deep that Sharon’s mind started to swirl. She was sure, without a doubt, that she loved Jake but what about him? She had heard a lot about his business dealings, corporate advances and his women. He was a famous celebrity in the business world and try as she might; she couldn’t stay away from him.
“This calls for something hard to drink.” Jake said and flicked his fingers to call a waiter. He ordered a bottle of scotch and sat back.

“This pizza was the best I’ve ever had.” Sharon giggled and hiccupped. They had pizza at the small café and then gotten drunk there. Sharon stepped out of her high heels and hung them from the tip of her fingers. Jake watched her, her face flushed and looking gorgeous in her black dress.
“Shall we go?” he asked. Sharon nodded eagerly and they stood up. Once in the car, Jake couldn’t decide whether to drop her home or to take her with him. Finally, he made up his mind and drove towards his apartment to the northern side of the city.
“Where are we going?” Sharon asked, looking at the unfamiliar scenery outside her window.
“Just a walk on the beach.” He said and turned a corner, approaching the beach. Sharon walked barefoot, giggling and laughing while Jake enjoyed her jokes and humor. They walked in the moonlight for hours, with Sharon talking to him.
“And you know, I was like this design is sooooo bad.” She giggled. “and the designer just looked at me, as if I’ve lost my mind.” She said and laughed. Jake smiled at her humor and walked beside her, his eyes only for her. She tripped on a stone but before she could fall, Jake looked in her eyes. He wanted to kiss her! He bent his head, taking her rosy lips into his, kissing and biting them. He shaped the contours of his lips to hers, silently coaxing her to part them and let him invade inside. Sharon opened her mouth and he invaded her, his tongue licking inside her mouth, driving her crazy while he touched her beautiful rounded breasts and his control snapped. He kissed her long and lingeringly, drinking in her sweet nectar while Sharon wrapped her arms around his neck, moving her body closer to him and kissing him like he kissed her. The innocent touch on his skin raced Jake’s heartbeat and he wanted to take her then and there. Breaking apart from her, he looked into her eyes, passion still lurking
