threw on some clothes. I realized I have nothing to wear to work the rest of the week. I was hoping that with my $417 dollars I could buy some good shoes and clothes to wear. I didn’t know where to start, so I thought I’d head to the club and ask the day shift girls. However, as soon as I walked out the door of my building I saw a black SUV and Marcus standing next to it. Shit. I have on no make up and my hair is wet. I do not want to have Jonathan see me like this, but as I turned around to run back inside Marcus called out my name.
“Ms. Lenox.” and he pulled a crisp cream-colored envelope out of his breast pocket and held it forth for me.
“Thanks Marcus” and I walk over and take the note. “Is he in the car?” I ask.
“No Miss, he’s in a meeting downtown.”
Phew and I let out a big breath.
“Ok, well, thank you Marcus. Have a great day.”
“I am to wait here Miss.” Wait? Why would Marcus wait for me? I decide to end the mystery and open the envelope. The paper is a nice weight in my hand but very soft, I can tell it is very expensive. The note is handwritten:
    Lenox
I thought you might want new some clothes for your new job so
please let me buy them for you.
Marcus is available to you to drive wherever you
wish to go today. Also, I am sorry
    about last night.

Ten crisp new hundred-dollar bills fell out and into my hand. Holy Shit! I looked up and Marcus was smiling and holding the door open for me. I have no idea where to start. I climb into the back seat that gave me so much pleasure last night, and run my hands on the soft black leather. No trace of my oral gift is evident. I notice Marcus is sitting in the drivers seat just staring ahead, and waiting for direction from me. I reach into my jeans back pocket for the phone number Samson gave me last night. I dropped my cell phone the second week here in town, and was going to call him from a pay phone. As I look around though, I don’t see one. Crap.

“Marcus, I don’t have a cell phone so can we just drive around for a minute and look for a pay phone.” I ask.
“Here Miss.” He takes a large tablet phone out of his jacket pocket and hands it back to me.
“Thanks” and I call Samson. I think I woke him but when I tell him I want to go shopping, he perks right up, rattling off names and streets. In the end I just hand the phone to Marcus so he can tell him where to drive. The first place we go is a shoe store downtown. The sign outside says sizes 2-20. 20? I can only imagine. Inside I tell the clerk that Samson sent me, and he explains balance and the body to me, and what I need for the job I do. I end up picking a black pair with a high stiletto heel, and a small platform under the ball of my foot for support. It also has straps that crisscross over the top of my foot for more support and tie into a zippered back heel support. As I walk around the store in these shoes, I feel staggering, and able to run a mile comfortably. I bought a second pair, and chose the red over silver. The next store we go to is for lingerie. They offer every style, color, shape, and size you could think of. I know I want my signature look to be sexy, but classy.

The entire time I am shopping, I am thinking about Jonathan. Will he like me in this? Is this sexy to him? I am hoping to catch his eye if he comes in the club again. I decide to go with thick but silky and skimpy bikini panties with lace trim, and matching lace demi-cup bras. The next store has all kinds of “stripper” dresses and outfits. Crazy, sexy, slutty looks with a few elegant gowns line the walls, and racks. It took me an hour, but I managed to find five dresses that I liked. All of them as classy as you could expect in a place like this for the job I have. I also grabbed a silver sequin bag to keep it all in, and several pairs of crystal chandelier earrings in all colors to match my new outfits. I knew I was going to use Samson for my hair and make-up so I had no need
