was back at the hotel before I knew it. My anger was beyond belief. She was playing me and her boyfriend. Fuck trying to save Ted from a big mistake. She was going to take him for half of everything he was worth, and that would be his fucking fault. I slammed down my luggage on the bed, then grabbed my shit to shower her fucking scent off me. I felt like a pussy, but I refused to be Ted.
    I was acting like a total bitch, but hearing her say that she loved him crippled me. I wanted to go out and find one of those skanks running all over the strip and fuck my anger out with one of them. She fucked me up so bad I couldn’t even function. I knew I never felt this way before, and it was destroying me.
    I needed to go get drunk.

    ~~~~~
    By the time I returned to my room, I was completely smashed. I reeked of alcohol so much I could get someone drunk standing next to me. I just got off the elevator when I’d seen something that took all my anger at Angel away and directed it elsewhere: her bitch of a mother. Candy struck Angel hard across her face, pissing me the fuck off.
    “What the fuck?!” I hollered, catching Candy off guard. Freaking out, Candy scurried to the bank of elevators that just pinged open in the middle of the floor and got away before I could get to her and wring her neck.
    I stumbled up to Angel as she covered her now bruised cheek. Fucking bitch was lucky with that slap to my Angel that I sobered the fuck up, or I would have chased Candy’s ass down and forgot that she was a female.
    As I came near Angel she flinched, and with her face covered with her hands, she shouted, “Stay away from me.”
    “Not going to happen,” I said, removing her hands from her face.
    “Did you have fun?” she sobbed.
    I was too drunk to really understand her meaning, but I knew that I wasn’t happy at all. “Not really,” I snarled.
    She looked at me with a pained expression and cried, “I saw you with that escort.”
    “It’s not what you think,” I admitted as I looked at her welted face. Damn, the bitch was going to pay for this.
    “Did you have sex with her? And by that I mean all types of sex,” she clarified her question.
    “I didn’t, actually. I was just asking for directions to the nearest comedy show. She thought I was trying to pick her up, but I told her I already had an angel,” I slurred in her ear, my weight pressing on her in my drunken stupor.
    “You need to lie down,” she replied.
    “Why won’t you let him go? Why are you letting me fuck my kid into you, yet you tell him that you love him?”
    “Just go to sleep, Dean,” she groaned, refusing to answer my question.
    “I’m not going to bed without you,” I said as my mouth attacked her pretty neck. Sucking hard, I marked her right there. Ha! Let her try to hide that from her lover. Once I pulled away, I grabbed her hand and marched drunkenly toward my hotel room.
    The moment we entered it, my bed looked really comfortable and inviting. I lay down, still dressed, and the room was starting to spin.
    “You were leaving?” she asked, looking at my luggage packed by the door before I went out to get smashed.
    “Yeah. I want you, but hell if I can let you keep doing this to me. Hell, I don’t even know what you’re doing to me, but I fucking hate it,” I groggily said right before I passed out.
Chapter 6
    I woke up to a pounding headache, but to my surprise there was a warm body next to me. I prayed to God I wasn’t just dreaming of Angel and took another broad to bed. I turned to see who it was, and thank fucking heavens it wasn’t a dream. It was her. Lying on her belly, but her head facing me. Even with fucked-up vision, she was a fucking knock out. I wanted to wake up to her every day, but it wasn’t going to work if she kept seeing this fuck. I was going to end up on the inside doing twenty to life.
    I tried to get up without waking her, but it didn’t work; she was a very light sleeper.
    She opened her eyes a little and
