“Whatever you think.
You’re the professional. I still haven’t been able to finish Kindred Kingdom.”

    He
gave her an indulgent smile. “The only child whose parent wants her to play video
games and you have no interest. Life’s just not fair.”

    The
irony of his statement wasn’t lost on her, and she looked over at Brad to find
he too had caught it. Yes, life was damned unfair sometimes. When her father
left them to go adjust something on the grill, Jillian shifted on her seat,
letting her legs open for a moment before crossing them again, leaving most of
her thigh exposed.

    Brad’s
eyes narrowed and his lips thinned, but he didn’t say anything. Enjoying
herself, she gave him a sweet, innocent smile.

    When
her dad came back, he fixed them all drinks and they went to sit at a table,
poolside. Jillian and Brad chatted while lunch was cooking. But every time Michael
left to go check on something, Jillian made sure to flash some skin at Brad.
Maybe pretending she sat on something sharp had been too much. She had thought
he was going to flay her alive when she hiked up her skirt to allegedly look at
her poor, hurt bum. He kept silent though and deliberately turned away, only
facing her again once her father was back at the table.

    In
the middle of lunch, something happened to have Jillian thanking every lucky
star she wished on during her entire life. Michael got an emergency call from
the office. Some sort of virus had attacked an important server and suddenly
many months’ worth of work was at stake. He left in a fury, yelling at someone
about backup data and goblins over the cellphone.

    And,
just like that, Brad and Jillian were alone by the pool, their leftover lunches
growing cold.

    “Well,”
Brad said, standing. “I guess I’ll get going.”

    Thinking
fast, Jillian held out a hand to stop him. “Oh, please don’t. I want to swim,
but it’s not safe for me to do that alone.”

    Eyebrows
raised, he answered her skeptically. “You’ve swam in this pool by yourself
plenty of times.”

    “I
know, but it’s still better with someone here watching.”

    His
hands clenched into fists by his sides, he sat back down and pointedly took out
his phone. “Go on then. I’ll just sit here and catch up on some reading.”

    “Okay,”
Jillian said sweetly, reaching down to grab the bottom of her dress and taking
it off in one swoop. She tossed it aside and then dove into the pool, only
catching the first part of Brad’s curses before she went under the water.

    When
she surfaced down at the other end, she looked for him and was dismayed to see
he wasn’t there.

    “He
actually left,” she said out loud in shock.

    A
second later he burst up out of the water right beside her, grabbing her in his
arms and pressing her against the side of the pool. She winced a little when
her back bumped against the pool wall. His hands forcefully grabbed her thighs
and wrenched them open. Not wanting to fall under the water, she quickly
wrapped an arm around his shoulder.

    Without
saying a word, he yanked her bikini bottom to the side, pushed in between her
legs, and his cock was inside her before she even knew what was happening. Her
breath stilled as soon as his stiff fullness filled her up.

Wrapping her legs around him and holding on
for dear life as his hips pumped against her, she barely had time to
internalize the fact that he was finally fucking her when he abruptly finished
and pushed away, swimming for the other side of the pool. He reached the
ladder, climbed up and exited the pool, stopping only to grab his swim trunk.
He was gone a minute later.

    Jillian,
still completely in shock, hung limply against the pool wall, staring at the
door he had gone through. He didn’t hurt her, hadn’t really even been inside
her long enough to even realize what was truly happening. For all she knew he
hadn’t come, the water making it
