but it was very nice to have that ache inside me relieved. It had been there for weeks, since I first laid eyes on Stevain.
Stevain. Something inside me sighed in relief as it settled in place around my heart. I reached and placed my hand on his well-muscled chest. He closed his eyes for a long moment before bending to kiss me.
"Your touch," he said. "There's something about it. It's unlike anything I've ever felt. But you are mine to command and it won't do for you to have that kind of power over me. Otherwise I will end up serving you instead of you serving me."
"And would that be so bad?" I asked, laying back on the table and smiling up at him.
He smiled in return, though his held a wickedness I knew well. "It would indeed, Angel. I'm not the kind to bend my knee to anyone, let alone a woman. A very delectable woman." He reached for my hand and gathered it in his, then kissed my knuckles and the palm of it before guiding it over my head. I heard a click and looked up. A metal band enclosed my wrist. My eyes widened. Before I knew what was happening, he'd brought the other hand above my head and did the same, securing it there with a band of metal. I wiggled my arms, confused.
    "What-?" I began.
"Shh," he said as he reached for a metal bar about two feet long with large circles attached to either end. "Remember the word I told you to use if you become frightened and want to stop playing."
"We're playing? This is a game?" I asked.
"Mmmhmm," he replied, bringing the metal bar between my legs. He snapped one of the circles at the ends around one thigh just above my knee, then did the same thing to the other. "A game I'm sure you'll enjoy."
I tried to bring my knees together. The bar held my legs open. I stared at him, wide-eyed. He smiled and reached for my ankles. Identical, smaller shackles went around them. These had a little hook in the middle of them, and he threaded a thin chain through it and snapped it together with a small clasp. I looked up and saw the chain was one of the ones attached to the ceiling, and ran through a small pulley. I didn't have time to look long, though, because he gave the chain a gentle tug. The pulley clicked and my ankles inched off the table. My knees bent automatically as my ankles were lifted above them, exposing my lower half. He reached under the table below my behind and the bottom half of it dropped to the floor.
"Perfect," he said, and went around to the end of the table. I moved my head, trying to see him around my thighs. He smiled at me and knelt down on the padded piece of table that had fallen on the floor. I peered at him through the opening the bar between my thighs made. He winked and looked between my thighs too. Only he wasn't looking at my face. He was looking at my-
My thoughts were interrupted by his hands cupping my bottom. His thumbs stroked the cheeks while his fingers curled around toward my hips. He slid his hands up my thighs and back down again before they slid between them and pushed them apart as far as the bar between them allowed. He looked up at me between my thighs. I shivered and kept looking at him. My neck was starting to ache and my stomach muscles were starting to quiver from trying to see. My breath came faster and the fire inside me was burning again.
"Ready?" he asked, and kissed my inner thigh.
Stars exploded behind my eyes and I arched my back. My shoulders and head pressed hard into the padded table beneath me. He laughed. "I'll take that as yes."
I gasped and looked down again. All I saw this time was his dark hair between my thighs an instant before I felt - oh God, was that his tongue ?! I groaned and thrashed and was actually grateful the metal bands were holding me in place, because I don't think I could have stayed on the table if they hadn't been there. He looked up at me between my thighs, and I could see his wicked grin in his sparkling eyes as he lowered his head again. This time he made sure I saw his tongue before it touched
