across the side of her throat.
A shiver racked her body and a hint of tension pulled her from her climax. She turned her head slightly and looked at him, her eyes heavy-lidded with passion and with a hint of fear.
“I need to feed. I will not hurt you and the pleasure…”
With the barest graze of his fangs, he scratched a faint line across her shoulder, but even that little bite was enough to bring the vampire’s desire to her. It dragged her eyes closed as her body shook roughly beneath him and her vagina vibrated all around him, creating a ball of need in his gut that he had to assuage.
“Sonja, please,” he pleaded, determined to have her consent to his bite.
“Yes,” she hissed and moved her hips, drawing herself along his length as she, too, sought yet greater passion.
He groaned and controlled the urge to rip his fangs into her throat. More gently he brought his mouth to where her pulse was beating so powerfully; her blood was a rushing river through her body. His head swam with the remembered taste of her and he lost a little control, spilling the first hint of his seed.
As she shifted her hips again, urging him on, he finally bit down.
Her head reared back and she screamed his name as the pleasure/pain of his bite swept through her, lifting her release onto another plane. Flooding her brain with not only more images, but also with what he was feeling as he made love to her.
He moved then, driving his cock in and out of her as he sucked at her throat until she was moaning and writhing beneath him, but then with another rough call of his name, her body tensed and shattered beneath him.
Sonja collapsed onto the bed with him on her. He was still working his fingers and dick in her, seeking his own release as she grew even more light-headed from the sensations he was creating. Even as her release ebbed through her, the strong pull of his mouth was rousing yet another climax, which she wasn’t sure she could endure. Already her body and mind were not her own; they were connected to his in ways she could not have imagined.
He finally moved his hand from her ass and eased his fingers against her belly, splaying them there to hold her to him as with one final push he came.
He pulled free of her throat and growled her name. Inside her, the heat of his seed warmed her and a moment of panic seized her.
No condoms. Not this time or before.
Did she even need condoms with a vampire? she thought and laughed out loud, earning a confused grunt from him as he withdrew from her.
She protested the loss of him until he tenderly turned her to face him and then slipped inside her once again.
“I cannot have enough of you,” he admitted with his human face.
“Nor I you,” she also confessed, but laid her hand on his chest to steady herself because she was still feeling a little light-headed and almost giddy.
    “Easy, Sonja. It’ll pass.”
Only she didn’t want it to end, she thought, tucking herself tight to his chest. Laying her head there and hearing a slow, steady beat. His heart, she thought, placing her hand there. A heart that was still alive.
As the aftermath of her passion faded, peace seeped into her as he held her, lazily stroking a hand up and down her back. She had never experienced such harmony with a man before. She had never felt so complete.
“I feel the same,” he said, clearly in tune with her feelings.
“Is it because of the bite?” They had shared so many images with each other and yet?
“Possibly,” he answered, leaving her unsatisfied. It was like having all the pieces of the puzzle before assembling it. You knew they would eventually form a picture, but you needed more information to put all the pieces together.
She wanted to have that complete picture of him, needed it—to try and explain why she was here in his arms, not wanting to leave them. And as painful as giving her the complete picture might be for him, she knew there was one thing she needed to understand more than
