other.” He starts snickering to himself.
I unravel our bodies from the mess we’re in together and start to stand. I stretch my arms up above my head and look up into the starry night; it’s then that I feel Jeremy’s head on my stomach. He leans his entire body into mine, as I look down he’s on his knees totally surrendering to me. He gazes up at me and I watch him as he kisses me through my dress.
“Tomorrow night, I want you like this after the benefit, Jeremy. On your knees and ready to please me.” I scratch my fingers through his hair.
“Bringing you pleasure is something I want and look forward to.”
“Good now take me home, it’s late and I want to go to bed.”
Jeremy stands and starts packing the picnic blanket up and placing everything in the hamper.
The drive home’s a little more relaxing with our hands entwined together laying on my lap, a comfortable silence fills the air of the car.
Jeremy pulls into my drive way, parks and comes to open my door. Extending his hand waiting for me to take it, I slide out of the seat with no assistance from him. He shakes his head and smirks while he drops his hand beside himself.
“I’ll pick you up at 4pm. It’s a black and white benefit. I’m sure you have something stunning to wear.”
“I’m sure I do. Thank you for an interesting evening, Jeremy.”
Neither of us lean in for a kiss, I simply walk toward my front door not looking back over my shoulder to see if Jeremy’s watching. I know he’s watching so I swing my hips a little extra and hear a low moan rumble through his chest. G opens the door for me and looks over at Jeremy.
“So obviously that went better than the limo.” G laughs as he closes the door to the mansion.
“We didn’t do anything and you know it.” G follows me into my office.
“Don’t fall for him, Frankie. You only need to figure this shit out with his Mom.”
I sit in my chair and G sits opposite me, completely relaxed back in his allocated seat.
“I’ve never fallen for anyone before, what makes you think that this time will be different. He’s someone that can help us, G, nothing more.”
“You know, Frankie, if you say it often enough, you may actually start believing it yourself.”
“Fuck off, G, I mean he’s easy on the eye and all but there’s no chance of me ‘falling’ for him.” I air quote ‘falling’ and roll my eyes.
“You’re a thirty two year old woman, you’ve got the weight of the whole organisation to worry about, along comes someone who seems to infuriate you and now you’re forced to spend time with him. Frankie, I love you like my own daughter, you’re gonna fall hard and fast for him. You mightn’t be able to see it but I can. Just remember his mother may need to be taken care of soon, you don’t want to complicate things more than they already are.”
“G,” I hang my head a little and rub my eyes.
“I know, you might not be able to help it, but try. Screw him, fuck him and get him out of your system. But just remember it’s us and them. We can’t ever unite and be one.”
“This is bullshit, G, I’m not gonna fall for him.”
“Enough said. So what’s the next step?”
“He’s got a benefit tomorrow night,” I look at the time and see it’s 2.45am “I mean tonight. I’ve been invited, I need some sleep and a dress.”
“A benefit hey?”
“One that I’m sure his mother will be at,” smiling at G, I’m sure he knows I’m up to something.
“Do I want to ask?” he cringes away but is also smirking.
“It may be time she knows that whatever she has on us, I have her son. And he’ll be worth more to her, than anything she can throw at us.”
“There’s my tenacious and fearless leader, now she’s back.”
“I need a dress, G.”
“Can’t help you out there, I’m afraid we’re both different sizes.” He starts laughing at his own joke and I roll my eyes but join him.
“I’m thinking Chanel.”
“I’m thinking your
