and when all was said and done, she really did need this lesson.
By the time he’d finished she was crying hard. He pulled her up and cradled her in his lap, rocking her back and forth, kissing the top of her head and praising her for how well she’d taken her punishment. He was pretty sure the motions and words of comfort were as much for his benefit as hers. Fuck it all, he had wanted to call it over after the first set of five, but a Dom’s word had to be golden or there would never be any real trust between the Dom and the sub. And without trust there was no Ds relationship in the world that could survive.
As Mitch watched Bryant deliver the last of Rissa’s punishment and then tenderly care for her after it had ended, he couldn’t help but feel her crying was more a catharsis of emotion than just an ordinary reaction to a chastisement. He knew he’d never be able to hear her thoughts through all the emotion, feelings that intense tended to cause what he’d always referred to as “whitewash.” The only thing he’d ever been able to compare it to was static electricity’s effect on radios. The signal was still there, but was being covered up by another layer of something more intense.
Rissa finally seemed to be calming, Mitch had been close to taking her in to the shower to shock her back into focus, God knew it was too cold in the river this time of year for a quick dunk. He smiled to himself thinking about the times they had dropped sweet little subs in to the cold water as either punishment or reward during the warm summer months. Even though the air was warm during the summer, the snow melt that made up the largest portion of the river’s flow was never anything you’d want to spend a lot of time splashing around in, but the river was always crystal clear, and the view of the rocky bottom of the riverbed from the cabin’s deck looked like a mosaic of Colorado’s finest geology. They’d often talked about how great it would be to replicate the design into a stone patio but had never had a space to do it. Perhaps he’d mention it Colt, he and Jenna might be able to use it in their addition to the ShadowDance mansion. Mitch shook his head trying to clear his wayward thoughts. He needed to focus on establishing a bond with the little sub his best friend was cuddling. The time after a punishment was critical to the establishment of trust, and he’d allowed his thoughts to wander. He really needed to get his head back in the moment.
“Come here, baby. I need to have some of this cuddle time, too.” Mitch helped her stand and then moved her to his lap, wrapping his arms completely around her and burying his nose in her sweet-smelling hair. “Oh, sweetheart, you smell so good, like fresh citrus and lush woman.” Running his hand up her thighs and into the leg opening of the boxers they’d pulled back up, he said, “Oh my, you are soaking wet, I think someone enjoyed that spanking.”
As Mitch ran his fingers through the drenched folds of Rissa’s pussy, he heard her soft gasp and she whispered “Please…”

Chapter Six

The men quickly moved Rissa inside to lay her out on the enormous bed in the master suite. The bed had been specially made to easily sleep four larger-than-average-sized adults. It had clearly been designed and built with polyamorous relationships in mind. It was also the perfect height for bending a sub over and fucking their ass, the four posts at each corner were sturdy enough to use in suspension scenes and best of all, there were eyebolts and open spaces disguised within the ornately carved head and footboards where scarves, ropes, and chains could be used for bondage games. Before she was even completely settled, they had her stripped and were standing back just looking at her with the strangest expressions. She finally managed to eke out, “What’s wrong?” when they didn’t respond, but just continued staring. She moved to the edge of the bed, it was obvious to her
