one, don’t move them until I say so.” She nods her head in agreement as the sexy vampire strokes his hands down her arms and over her chest.
Ian moves down her to her breasts and worships them with his lips and hands. He wants her to understand the feelings he is developing for her. He knows it’s too soon for her, but he wants her to remember this night when she has to make the hard choices that she will be facing in the near future.
Knock, Knock, Knock.
They both freeze and Ellie drops her arms to cover her body.
“Damn!” Ian jumps up, crosses to the door and opens it without bothering to pull on his clothes. He sees his friend standing there. “What is it, Jasper?”
“We have a VIP on the floor who is requesting you, my lord. She’s insistent that you will want to see her.”
“Well, who is it?” he demands.
Jasper leans closer and whispers, “Annabelle.”
Ian shakes his head. “I’ll be out in a few moments. Take her to the VIP table and tell her I’ll be there as soon as I possibly can.”
Jasper nods. “Of course, my lord. I’ll take care of her till your arrival.”
“Annabelle?” He watches as she struggles to pull her dress on and find her undergarments.
“Calm down, little one.” Ian walks toward her with palms up in a gesture of peace. “Annabelle is not my lover, at least not anymore.”
“Really? You don’t owe me any explanations, Ian. I know what this is and it’s nothing but a one-night stand. Just tell me this. She’s not a wife or fiancée, is she?”
“Do you think I would bring you to my club and make love to you if I had a wife or fiancée?”
“I don’t know you very well, so I can’t say if you would or not, can I?” she tosses back at him.
“Ellie, Annabelle is the woman who made me a vampire. She’s a royal princess and I can’t ignore her. I owe her too much that can never be repaid. Please stay here and watch the bar and patrons through the glass. Jasper will bring refreshments and I’ll return shortly.”
“I would rather go home now, Ian. It has been a long night and I need to get up early in the morning.”
“As you wish, my love. I will have Jasper take you home if that’s okay. He is my second, which means he is my right hand man. I’ve known him for over four hundred years and I made him. You are safe with him and he will not harm you.”
Ellie nods her head and whispers softly, “That will be fine.”
Ian reaches for his clothes and dresses quickly. He glances back and sees her sitting forlornly on the couch that they had been making love on and he can feel the anger rise in his throat for his Maker.
He opens the door and sees Jasper waiting for him. “Please take her home, Jasper, and make sure she gets taken care of tonight.”
“I will, my lord.”
Ian takes a deep breath and heads to meet Annabelle hoping he doesn’t strangle her on sight.
Annabelle watches Ian stalk across the bar to her table and gets a flutter of awareness in her stomach. The man is still walking sin after all these years, she thinks to herself.
“Good evening, Your Royal Highness. How may I be of service to you?”
Annabelle grins up at him and says, “You can drop that ‘highness’ bullshit and call me Annabelle like you always do, unless you are upset with me. Did I interrupt a private party, Ian?”
Ian pulls out the chair, turns it around, and straddles it. Running his fingers through his tousled hair, he sighs and tells the truth to another he can’t lie to. “I believe I have found the one to satisfy the Hunger, Annabelle.”
Annabelle’s eyes grow wide as she grabs his hand. “Are you
