sexy voice she had practiced with Grace in the locker room. âJust sit wherever you want and weâll be right with you.â She smiled up at the large man with the wavy blonde hair towering over her and batted her eyelashes just for good measure.
âThanks.â Andrew winked at Annie and headed toward a nearby table overlooking the golf course.
âTake it,â Annie whispered to Grace as she watched her flirt target walk away.
âNo. You take it,â Grace whispered back. âHeâs yours, remember?â
âYeah, I know. I was just offering you the table to be nice.â Annie did not take her eyes off Andrewâs posterior end. âIâll go find out where his brother is.â
Annie sashayed more than usual as she made her way to Andrewâs table.
âIs it just one today?â she asked nonchalantly. Even seated, Andrewâs face was still tall enough to be the same height as Annieâs was while standing and their eyes met intensely on the same level plane.
âNo. My bro â Oh, there he is,â said Andrew pointing to the dining room entrance.
Annie turned in the direction of Andrewâs point and Graceâs eyes followed her friendâs quick head turn. Grace actually gasped out loud as she gazed once more on the gorgeous boy who literally made her knees weak.
There stood Gregory Reich in all his tightlyâfitted tennis white glory. He smiled when he spotted Andrew on the other side of the room and the shine of his smile made Graceâs butterflies flit nervously in her nauseated stomach. She forced her eyes to leave Gregoryâs glowing face and work their way down his well-developed body. While his physique was not as bulky as Andrewâs, he was still muscular enough to grab the attention of all the ladies in the room. He seemed oblivious to this fact as he floated between the dining tables toward his brother. Grace could not stop staring at Gregoryâs toned body and when her eyes finally made their way back up to his face, Gregoryâs dark green eyes were staring straight at her. Like an emerald knife, his gaze tore through her heart and stole her breath. She quickly turned around, embarrassed by her own ogling, and tried to busy herself by pretending to organize the condiments on the waitress station. As she reached for a ketchup bottle, her fingers started tingling again, so she ended up just standing there with her hands thrust in her pockets until the sensation went away.
âWhatâs wrong with you?â asked Annie coming up behind her.
âHe caught me staring at him,â whispered Grace.
âSo? At least now he knows youâre interested in him.â When it came to guys, Annie could turn any situation into a positive one. âNow get over there and start flirting.â She gave Grace a hard elbow toward the Reich brothersâ table.
Grace was getting really tired of Annie shoving her around the clubâs dining room.
But once again, Annieâs push was obvious enough that Grace was forced away from her waitress station safety zone and ended up halfway into the dining room facing the brothers. Both boys quickly looked up from their menus, but Gregoryâs eyes were the ones that drank in Grace.
âHi,â she quietly said when she reached their table. âWhat can I get you all today?â Grace kept her eyes on Andrew.
âHey, Grace. Good to see you again.â Gregory flashed her a smile.
Graceâs brain screamed,
Oh my gosh! He remembers my name!
âUh, hi. Gregory, right?â Grace tried to act cool but acting cool was in direct contradiction to her blending in persona.
âYeah,â he laughed, gesturing across the table, âand you remember my brother Andrew.â Gregoryâs cheeks were flushed but not one drop of sweat could be found on his face. He looked down at his menu. âHow about some iced tea and the Club Cheeseburger â
