reached around and squeezed Mike’s balls.
â€œThe cock ring is making your dick twice its normal size,” I whispered.
And it was true. I could feel Mike growing inside me, stirring feelings I’d never had before. Was I about to have my first orgasm? Yes. My eyes were locked with Sarah’s as I rode the wave of my sensations.
The man climbed into the car. He had Sarah’s knife, the one she’d held against my throat in the bathroom. He aimed it at Mike’s throat. I pumped as hard as I could. Mike groaned and gasped his way into his own orgasm. I felt him thrust one more time.
Then I heard him scream, “Awesome!”
I watched an amazing transformation occur. The beautiful Sarah, deformed by her rage, started to give way. The man growled and shook as his knife froze in midair.
Enormous bumps were forming all over Sarah and her family. Limbs and sinews could be seen bulging under their flesh. A head with three eyes popped through Sarah’s fine, white skin. She was weeping, and turning into one of those humanoids she was forever making in art class.
â€œBaby, I love you,” Mike groaned.
I could feel his sperm mingling with my blood and trickling down my thigh, and as it did I saw my blood jewel burst in Sarah’s open mouth. Blood cascaded down her lips and neck. And then she and the men dissolved into the moon-filled night.
Mike and I were lying on the floor of his SUV, a wet, sticky tangle. The SUV looked untouched, except for the mess our sex had made.
    Â
We drove back into town. We talked about what to do next. We decided not to call the police. What would be the point? Who would believe us? Besides, now we were safely out of Sarah’s reach.
When we entered the comforting lights of suburbia, we became silent. I shivered as I thought about how close we’d come to dying. Wasn’t it wonderful to have survived? On top of that I was now a real woman. I could hold my head up at school. No more jokes about being a virgin from Janine and Tia.
I took out my compact, and adjusted my makeup. In the tiny mirror, I tried to find the sophisticated woman I should now be. I did look different. What was it? Yes, that was it. For the first time, I saw how much I resembled my mother.
    I snapped my compact shut.
    â€œEverything okay?” Mike asked.
    â€œSure, sure,” I said.
â€œI bet you’re happy to be alive,” Mike said. “Like I am.”
â€œYeah,” I said. I was happy to be alive. I just didn’t feel happy the way Mike felt happy about it.
We drove past the giant mall. I’d always been so proud of it: the biggest in the tri-county area with the most up-to-date fashion stores. Couples milled about the movie multiplex. As a kid, I couldn’t wait to be old enough to go on dates there.
â€œHey,” Mike said. “What do you say we go take in a movie next Saturday night?”
â€œSure,” I said. “I’d like to see that new Spider-Man sequel. Although, it’ll seem tame after what we went through tonight.”
â€œThat’ll be fine by me,” Mike said.
I saw that he really did feel that way. As for me? I couldn’t help wondering what Sarah and her crew would be doing next Saturday night. She’d probably leave this area. Maybe even this century. Sarah could go anywhere, forever.
I, on the other hand, would be going to the multiplex.
We turned the corner towards my house. “I’d like for us to be a steady thing.”
â€œWhy not?” I said, then realized I should be more enthusiastic. “That would be nice,” I added.
â€œDon’t worry about your blood in the back of the car. I’ll take care of it.”
    â€œThanks.” I smiled.
He put his hand on mine. I glanced down at our fingers resting on each other and for a moment, I saw my parents’ hands instead of ours. I shuddered harder than I had all evening.
    â€œYou okay?” Mike
