felt that the twins held some kind of secret she didn’t really want to know. Without knowing why, she began agree ing with Jay that it was a bad idea to come here.
“Blake is getting married? Oh n o… I-I mean that’s wonderful” stuttered Paige,  obviously distressed with this news.
Jay pushed her lightly and looked at her and scolded her with his gaze.
    “Don’t forget you’re already taken”
Paige took him under his arm and went silent. Of course those two aren’t aware of the gravity of the situati ons and of the potential danger , Carrie thought to herself. She began regret ting that she took them with he r and that she let herself be persuaded to go to that damn party that one Friday at the Delir ium Club. If it wasn’t for that she would be in her home reading a book about vampires now .
“And maybe you’ll marry our little Carrie?”
The girl awoke from her thoughtful s tate. Paige was smiling to Jacob like an idiot. Carrie was at the same time irritated with her behavio ur and envious of her frankness.
Suddenly Carrie felt something cold grasping her hand. It was Jacob. S he  looked again at his hypnotiz ing emerald e yes in which she noticed a peculiar shine. The young man unexpectedly got closer to her, so she felt the sweet scent of his breath.
“We need to talk in privat e before the wedding ceremony” he whispered.
She nodded her head and swallowed her saliva. Her heart was beating madly even when he let go of her hand.
Finally the y entered a large living room. Its walls were half-painted Bloodred and half- covered in darkbrown paneling. They were also covered in multiple interesting paintings and many unique sculp tures stood all around the room. But the P ersian carpet along with the old grandfather’s clock standing between two bookcases seemed to be the most expensive items in the room.  Au dioslave’s Show Me How To Live could be heard from the speakers .
Aidan and Zack were in the living room, dressed in the same clothes as Jacob. Mikaela w as wearing a short black dress and Blake w as wearing an elegant white suit. A nother young man, who was immediately recognized by Carrie, Paige and Jay , was also there .
“ Father Rosenberg?!” all of them said at the same time with a surprise in their voice s .
“My children! How happy I am to see you!” Blake appeared before them “I see you’ve already met our dear friend Jonathan”
“Father Rosenberg leads the ceremonies in our church” Paige said.
Blake smiled to her, although his gaze wasn’t to o nice. The girl went silent again and hugged Jay while Morton was pointing to the table covered in all kinds of food .
“I invite you to the feast. The ceremony will start soon”
Jay and Paige immediately went to the table to satisfy not only their eyes but also their stomachs. Carrie thought they’ll never s atisfy their gluttonous hunger and almost started laughing while watching them taking everything they can on their plates. She wasn’t really hungry .
She noticed that Jacob was gone. It turned out that he was sitting next to the table and d rinking some kind of dark-red liquid along with the others. Maybe it’s a new type of a wine? Carrie went to the table and found one filled glass of it. She took it carefully and started turning it around with her fingers.
She examined the consistency and smell of this weird liquid but when she was just about to taste it, she fe lt a very peculiar pain in her wrist.
“Don’t drink it. It’s not for you” Jacob whispered and then he put his glass down a nd pulled her towards himself “ Come, we’ll talk in private ”
They left the liv ing room using a different exit and found themselves on the corridor. Jacob pull ed her towards the second floor which was filled with the doors. Morton opened the closest one and it looked as if it belonged to a rebellious teenager with a dark soul. All the walls were black like the night. Ther e was a small bed in the corner and a
