coming to my defense.”
His face lit up with his dazzling smile. It always amazed Carrie how transformed Marcus was when he smiled. It was a rare sight and she basked in it.
“I have a compromise for you.”
It was difficult for her to concentrate with his thumb on her mouth. “Ah… Ok. What is it?” she finally forced out. Better to keep her questions short or he would know for sure how affected she was by his touch.
The musk of his skin washed over her senses, heady and totally masculine. Her mouth watered and she wanted to reach out and lick the pulse point in his neck.
“You spend the weekend with me and I’ll let you out of your contract.”
She stepped back to get a good look at his face. He was stone-cold serious. Her spine stiffened ramrod straight and a lump formed in her throat, threatening to cut off her air. She had the sudden urge to not only kiss him, but also slap him right across his superior smile. The need to do both weighed heavily upon her. She wasn’t a violent woman though, and jumping him was something one of the bimbos he dated would do.
She wanted this. His offer was the culmination of her wildest fantasies, so why pretend to be offended by it? The idea of being with Marcus Worthington started an undeniable ache between her thighs to match the one in her heart.

Marcus watched the wide range of emotions pass across Carrie’s lovely, flushed face. Anger and embarrassment gave way to curiosity and then stark need. His dick ached as he waited for her answer. He was patient and let her take as long as she needed. He wondered if her ass would flush that same color of pink after he had given her a special punishment.
She nodded her head briefly, clearly unable to get the word yes out. It wasn’t good enough for him. She needed to speak her desire for him to master her. Then, and only then, could they begin.
“Carrie, you have to tell me yes. You think you know what a weekend with me will entail. You think you know what I like. On some things you may be right. But I can guarantee there are things you will experience that you never dreamed possible.” He approached her again, his hands rising to her shoulders. He let his fingers trail down her chest and brush over her breasts.
She closed her eyes and swallowed a moan.
“The tabloids didn’t know half of what I like, so you have to be sure. There’s no going back once you walk into my house.”
Marcus didn’t know if she truly understood what it meant to be a sub or if she could do it. At work she was efficient, sharp and smart. She was capable of holding her own in a male-dominated work environment. Handing over complete control to him might be more than she could handle. A lot of women fantasized about being dominated but far fewer enjoyed the reality of the complex relationship between Dom and sub. Marcus wasn’t brutal, nor did he humiliate his lovers. He found those practices distasteful. He did, however, command absolute control during sex. From positions to clothing, even up to and including orgasm, he expected compliance. Unless the safe word was spoken, he did as he pleased.
Carrie’s brown eyes were wide. He hadn’t meant to scare her. He just wanted her to be sure, because her life was about to change. If they explored this thing between them, by Sunday night she would never be the same woman again.
She drew a deep breath, and when she answered him her words were like music to his ears. “Yes, Marcus, I understand what you’re saying and what spending the weekend with you means.”
He stepped back and moved to the door, locking it. Returning to stand a few feet in front of her, he rapped out a command. “Unbutton your blouse.” He might as well test her now.
When she hesitated, he sighed. “If you’re unable to follow a simple command, this isn’t going to work.”
She took another deep breath and lifted her fingers to the top button of her shirt. Every pearly button she opened revealed more soft, creamy
