woman in the world.”
She kissed his lips as he began to slowly make love to her on the dining room floor. His proposal had been everything she wanted in the whole world. His admission of his feelings and him saying those important three words would stay with her forever.

Later that evening, Simon stared down at his sleeping fiancée. He’d made love to her for the rest of the afternoon and into the evening. The moment she’d uttered that one wonderful word, he’d been a goner. He stroked her hair down her back and squeezed her full bottom before moving away to stare out of the window.
There was a lot for them to do. He intended to keep Hope busy for the next fifty years. She was his everything. His words today hadn’t been fake or practiced. They were the words that had come from his heart. She’d been part of his life for an entire year. Within that year he’d seen the men at work flirting with her and touching her body. He’d sat in his office seething with hatred for the men who were free to touch her whenever they liked. When he was alone at functions and other women tried to gain his attention, he had to fight them off.
He didn’t want to live his life wanting Hope and forever having to remain apart from her in the public eye. The moment he could get it arranged she would be his wife.
She muttered something in her sleep and searched for his warmth. Simon went back to the bed and climbed in behind her. He wrapped an arm around her waist and breathed in the delicious scent of her body.
Hope sighed and settled back against him. He’d worked her over good that day and she needed her rest.
Simon glanced at the clock over the bedside table. It was now in the early hours of Sunday morning. Before the weekend was up he’d promised himself he would have his ring on her finger and he had kept that promise.
Smiling to himself, he pressed a kiss to her neck and let sleep claim him.

Epilogue

    Six months later

Simon stood at the altar waiting for his bride. His wedding day had finally arrived and with it, Hope would become his wife for the rest of their lives.
The moment he had announced their engagement the world had gone nuts with their love story. Everyone wanted to know about the couple who’d met and fallen in love at work. Their love was just a cliché to the outside world whereas to him, he knew the truth. When the public looked at them together, they saw a boss and an employee and there was nothing special about that. People fell in love with those they worked closely with all the time.
But they were so much more than two people who’d fallen in love with each other at work.
Simon had fallen in love with Hope the moment she’d spilt the coffee over her pristine white shirt. That love had developed when he’d seen her in the BDSM club he frequented, sitting alone at the bar waiting for someone. Then he’d fallen deeper in love with her when he’d proposed and she’d denied him.
Their love was different and would forever remain so.
His weekend of seduction had been his last trick to get what he wanted. He’d known how he felt about her, but seeing her hesitation and understanding it had given him the key to unlock her heart.
The music began to play and he turned to look at the front of the church. He waited for her. The church was filled with the press and his closest friends. There were also several members of the club present.
And then she was there, a true vision of pure beauty in a white dress. She looked every part the radiant woman, and the glow beaming out of her meant something new to him.
That very morning, Hope had told him the good news.
She was pregnant with his baby.
He watched as she walked down the aisle towards him. Her gaze rested on him. Simon stared at her and waited. He wanted to go to her and carry her up to the altar to be with him. His gaze moved down her body. She wasn’t showing yet, but he knew it was only a matter of
