spur-of-the-moment invitation. At first she didn't know if she should. It tempted her beyond what she could even think possible. But in the end it drew her in, it is what she wants so she smiled and nodded. "Sure," she said slowly. “What about the others?”
“They have free time, they will do what they want. Andy has family here. I think Ted is calling it an early evening,” Darnell said as he placed his hand on her upper arm. “Let’s go, it’ll be okay.”
They hopped into Darnell's rented vehicle, a silver Bentley. Jenna smiled as she ran her hand over the rich soft leather interior. The vehicle hummed to life and Darnell drove to a steak and seafood place he enjoyed.
Over lobster and steak the two enjoyed each other’s company. Jenna glowed in the candle light as Darnell talked about his hopes and dreams for the future. Jenna noted one very important thing; he never mentioned his wife, so she did the same and didn't mention Will. They just talked and dreamed like they did in high school. Jenna found she rather enjoyed the extravagant lifestyle Darnell had.
After supper Darnell took Jenna driving around Atlanta. Darnell showed his favorite spots and all the fun tourist highlights. They stopped at Buckhead and strolled through the lively nightlife of the streets. They stopped at a bar for a glass of wine before heading back to the Bentley. Together, arm in arm, they strolled the streets acting as if they were couple and no one else were in the world.
Jenna wrapped her arms about her body as a cool breeze blew. Her hair fluttered softly in her face as she smiled wistfully at Darnell. His eyes searched hers, he could no longer stop it. He trailed his fingers across her forehead, pulling the hair from her eyes. She looked up at him with great longing, her eyes also searching his. He brought his full lips to hers ever so slowly in a soft kiss, one that has been denied since their connection in the conference room a couple of weeks ago.
He pulled her to him, his arms rubbing down her back and hugged her tightly. It felt so right holding her like this. Jenna smiled up at him, her eyes misty. The barriers came down as their lips met for the second time, this time heating up the passion between them. Unstoppable passion that won't be denied between the two.
Darnell pulled back and smiled into Jenna’s sweet face. After grabbing her hand they went to the car in a sprint and drove back to the city and straight to the Embassy Suites. Neither one said a word, the silence filled with anticipation of a longing well over-due.
He parked the car in the parking garage and pulled out the key. Jenna smiled at him as he reached over and grabbed her hand. She trembled at his touch. This is the moment she’d dreamed about for so long. “You ready?” Darnell asked. Jenna nodded and they took the elevator to the top floor to Darnell’s penthouse suite.
"You okay?" Darnell said as he brought Jenna back into his arms, this time in private. The room, elegantly decorated in creams and black in a modern design, offered a reprieve from prying eyes. It felt good to let their guard down and just be who they really are, two people in love.
"Yes," Jenna said as she shuddered. Their brief encounter back at the home office paled in comparison to what lay before them now. Jenna smiled as she came out of her jacket and Darnell followed her lead by removing his clothing.
It didn't take long for the couple to be down to their underwear and Darnell picked up Jenna, clad in a satin black bra and a pair of black thongs, and carried her to the king suite. "I took the liberty of having your bags brought up here. The others won't know, they are on the lower floors and they have other meetings in the morning. We'll be meeting them later in the day to sign the papers. No one will find out," Darnell said and landed his lips on hers in a lingering kiss and intensified their passion. Jenna didn’t care at this point as her body responded to
