    “We love our Americans,” she said, her accent growing thicker as she became more excited. “You all are usually very friendly people.”
    “Well, so far, we love everyone in Sweden, too. I’ve never met a group of more positive individuals,” I said.
    I noticed the woman look past me and lock eyes with Tim. There was no arguing that Tim was handsome and I was used to him getting looks from ladies. But this woman was just staring him down as if I wasn’t even there.
    In an attempt to break her view from my husband, I held out my hand and said, “I’m Ashley.”
    She looked back to me and then softly gripped my hand. “I’m Nora!”
    I pointed behind me and said, “This is my husband, Tim.”

    We all clinked glasses and drank. Immediately, Nora ordered us another round. As we drank and chatted with Nora, it became clear that we weren’t going to be going home any time soon. In fact, the night was just started.

    All three of us made our way back in front of the piano and started dancing. As soon as the piano man saw me, he changed the song he was playing to something a little more upbeat.
