    I held onto him for a moment longer. "You don't have to look so surprised about it. I'd just like a little privacy - when I finally have my way with you."
    Derek laughed. "C'mon. Scott is waiting for us. With some normal clothes this time. Until then, you can have my cape."
    I was about to tease him when I remembered Elise. "Wait! What about Elise?"
    Derek finished fastening the cape around me. "Let's not worry about her anymore. I found her and she's not willing to come out of hiding. She doesn't even want her parents to know she's alive."
    My heart sank. " But then you're back to where you started. "
    Derek grabbed my hand and started leading me out of the party. "Not exactly. For one thing, I know she's alive and not being held against her will. And despite her threats, I'm going to tell her parents."
    I stopped walking. "Derek, I don't know. What if they don't believe you - it's all so…strange. And what will Elise do when she finds out?"
    Derek shrugged. "I snapped some photos of Elise while she was, um, occupied. Scott gave me a miniature camera, and I was able to get close enough that I think she'll be recognizable by her parents. I even got some photos of her without her wearing a mask . I'll let them know about her circumstances. She is an adult so I'm not sure they have any recourse. They may very well write her off with what I'm sure they'll call her 'deviant sexual lifestyle'. It might be too embarrassing for them. At least they'll know . What they do with it is up to them."
    Derek continued nonchalantly, " As to her threats, she made all kinds of wild ones. I'll deal with that when the time comes. Finally, I feel like a big weight is lifted from my shoulders. And it feels great. Now, i t's time to focus on the future. Our future."
    My stomach did a funny little flip-flop. "And what is our future?"
    Derek pulled me against his body. "Our immediate future is getting the hell out of here and getting some where private so I can ravage you. I have been aching for you all night. But beyond that, I want to let the whole world know that you're mine. No more sneaking around, no more games. Just you and me."
    I felt my guard slipping. "S o far those plans sound okay ."
    Derek laughed. " Just okay? I see I'm going to have to do some convincing. Well, I' ve got plenty more plans for us. And I'll spend all my energy convincing you how good they are . "
    I looked up into his stunningly piercing eyes. "M aybe you should start now. "
    "Maybe I will." Derek flashed me a mischievous smile before his lips lowered against my own. I yielded to his demanding kiss as waves of desire shot through me.
    I clung to Derek with desperation. I was drowning in a sea of delirious happiness. And I was right where I wanted to be.
