course, you know?” shamise didn’t want to put the possibility of divorce out in the universe for consumption. “i know it’s not something you wanna think about, but the way he has been acting at home—”
shamise’s thoughts were interrupted by a series of knocks that made us jump. The urgency of the knocking had us all on edge.
I walked toward the door, picking up my Glock 19 along the way as the knocking got louder and more intense by the moment.
I swung the door open and pointed the gun in the same motion, intent on scaring the person on the other side of the door. The barrel of the gun landed squarely between the eyes of lynx, whose angry scowl turned into trepidation quickly upon seeing the shiny piece of metal in my hand.
â€œI know your Mistress taught you better than this, slave.” The irritation in my voice was not lost on him, and he immediately dropped to his knees, realizing I was not to be trifled with. “To what do we owe the honor of your, shall we say, visit?”
â€œi wish to see my wife.” lynx’s eyes continued to focus on the barrel. He never looked up in my direction, realizing that transgression would compound the issue that he had already placed himself in. I was irritated by the fact that he had to be reminded of his place and protocol.
â€œI assume you want to try that again, slave?” I cocked a bullet into the chamber to emphasize his need to repeat himself with the respect he was taught.
Watching the barrel trained between his eyes, lynx dropped to his knees and dropped his head. His eyes were cast downward. He opened his palms at his knees and asked again, “Lady Neferterri, this slave would respectfully request to see his wife, if You have finished with her at this time?”
â€œThat’s better, slave.” I lowered my gun as shamise and sajira walked up behind me. sajira’s face twisted when she saw her husband on the ground. I know she hated seeing him like that, but if he was gonna play games, he was gonna play by my rules, even if it killed him. “sajira, baby, go take care of business with your husband; we’ll be in the main building taking care of tonight’s entertainment.”
â€œYes, my Goddess, i shall meet you there in about an hour.” She cut her eyes at lynx. The way her body stiffened, I didn’t want to be a fly on the wall for that conversation. She turned her attention back to me, letting me know she had to make quick work of her husband before getting back to the tasks at hand. “This won’t take long, i promise.”

â€œHave you lost your damn mind?!?!?!”
I took my husband back to my private bedroom inside of the family hut since I knew we would have a slight bit of privacy to rip him a new asshole for embarrassing me in front of my D/s family.
â€œNo, I haven’t lost anything, at least I don’t think I have.” He had the nerve to try to sound pitiful. “As hard as this might sound to you, I miss my wife.”
I didn’t know whether I wanted to kick him or punch him after he made that statement.
For the past year, he had been an absolute jackass, doing everything in his power to try and make living with him as unbearable as he could. He’d moved into the spare bedroom in our home, all but stopped having sex with me six months later, and tried his best to make my sis feel like a piece of meat.
But now he missed his wife . Yeah, right.
â€œIf you say you miss me, you have a fucked-up way of showing it, Ice .” I refused to call him by his slave name. In my mind, he took the “only address me by my slave name” madness too far, and I wasn’t about to feed into it anymore. “So, tell me, darling, when exactly did you start missing me? Was it before or after your Mistress stopped fucking you?”
His eyes widened, wondering how in the world I’d found outthat information. What he failed to
