    Kota slowed to a rocking rhythm, his lungs burning and his legs shaking. He pulled Blair up in his arms, holding him tight. “Did I hurt you?” He kissed the wound at his mate’s neck.
    “No.” Blair panted. “It was perfect. I won’t be able to sit for a while, and my body is all marked up, but it was perfect.” Blair rained kisses all over Kota’s face.
    Kota pulled him around his chest as he stood, carrying him to the bathroom. He regulated the shower and stepped in, washing Blair from head to toe. Once completed, his mate got out while Kota finished his shower.
    Kota stepped out of the shower. He watched from his peripheral as Blair examined the bite wounds in the mirror, his face screwed up in concentration.
    “I can smell you thinking too hard, mate.” Kota chuckled while walking across the room.
    “Can you really?”
    “No, but I can feel what you’re feeling if you’re close enough.
    And you’re feeling shame. Why?” Kota pulled a pair of jeans on, leaving the top button undone.
    Blair shrugged at Kota’s question. He tucked his hair behind his ear and lowered his eyes.
