you … womaniser … jerk … asshole. Take your pick. Whatever you choose, I don’t care because I’m out of here.”
And with that, I storm out of the flat.

    Priestly

Okay, maybe I was a bit of dick but I know Temperance was talking shit when she threatened to ‘go all psycho’ on my ass.
    The girl is a pushover.
I know it. She knows it.
It’s only a matter of time before she walks out for good.
But, there’s only so many things that I can do to get the girl to crack and I’m running out of ideas.
Acting like an asshole and throwing parties every night has certainly annoyed her but I’ve got to do something else if I want her gone. I need to step up my game.
My lack of cleanliness concerning the flat is certainly starting to push her over the edge but it’s not enough.
    What else?
Hmm … the mere innuendo of anything remotely sexual seems to make her squirm which makes me wonder how she’d cope with some overnight visitors. I c ould have girls over more often – running into them in the morning is sure to make her uncomfortable.
Man, this is going to be fun.
She has to go insane eventually.
I grin to myself and then make my way back to my bedroom.
Concocting these evil plans isn’t reall y helping my hangover. In fact, I feel worse and I just want to sleep.
So, I flop down onto the bed and fall asleep within minutes.

    Temperance

I’m not surprised when I come back to find that the flat is still a mess … or that Priestly is back in his room sleeping.
Heaving a sigh, I grab some bin bags and start cleaning.
I know that I’m being a doormat yet again but I can’t have Nixon finding the flat a mess when he comes to pick me up.
    I glance at my watch – four-thirty.
It’s two and a half hours until my date so that gives me two hours to clean and just half an hour to get ready.
I sigh heavily and grab more bin bags.
Did I mention that Priestly’s an asshole?

Chapter Six

    Priestly

I resurface from my bedroom at eight-thirty, my hangover cured.
I stumble to the bathroom and take a quick shower to wake me up. It’s Friday night, so I’m going to go out and have a damn good time.
Besides, I have to take a break from Party Central since it’s the weekend and Nerd Girl doesn’t have to get up early. It’s no fun throwing a party when I can’t piss her off.
After changing into jeans and a shirt, I make my way through to the living area to find it immaculate.
Fuck. This girl is not going to give up.
But, on the plus side, I was right – she was full of crap about threatening me.
I grab my wallet and then glance around curiously.
I thought she’d be here, reading a book like she always does.
Curious, I sneak a peek into her room and discover that she’s not there either.
Probably at another study group or shit like that.
Shrugging off those thoughts, I lock the flat and make my way to one of the student bars.
It’s not long before I find Carter and some other people I know.
“Hey man.” Carter says before taking a slug of beer. “How goes it with Nerd Girl? Get rid of her yet?”
I shake my head. “No, but she pitched a fit about the mess of the flat yet again so I think I’m getting close.” I add with an evil grin.
He laughs. “Excellent. Although, I can’t help but find myself curious about her. Am I ever gonna meet the chick face-to-face?”
    I frown at him. “Why?”
Carter grins evilly. “I’d love to make a move on her, see if she really is a Nerd Girl after all.”
I shake my head. “You’re evil man.”
He downs his beer and laughs. “Hey, maybe if I did it’d scare her enough to leave.”
Oh my God … that’s it.
“Carter, you’re a genius!” I tell him with a wicked grin.
He looks at me curiously. “What are you on about?”
“You should start messing with her.” I tell him with a laugh.
    “I’m not following.”
“She’s totally uncomfortable when it comes to anything suggestive.”
