school and not his body.
Cassandra always frowned, school was great and this was their senior year. A smile crossed her features as the guys popped into her mind. Leo was still with Mindy but Luis had only lasted one more month with Monica. Yet Monica still remained one of Cassandras good friends. Surprisingly she was also still friends with Luis. He said girls love him so much they even settle for his friendship. That had provoked Cassandra to punch him in the arm.
Leo and Luis loved to tease her. She felt like they were her brothers, well, all except for Mike. What she felt for him was far from brotherly. A sigh left her lips as she remembered they were celebrating their nine month anniversary today. Cassandra thought it strange, but mike insisted on celebrating.
That night she dressed in her new peach dress. Mrs. Codey had given it to her. Yes indeed, Mrs. Codey had given her a dress. Well, it had been a lot more than a dress. She seemed to always take her shopping.
She claims to have always wanted a daughter and that she had no one to go shopping with. Cassandra felt obligated to go with her. Mrs. Codey made her do all sorts of girly things. Like manicures, pedicures and facials among all sorts of other tortures.
She even went as far as to let the woman talk her into getting a haircut. Now, instead of one dress in her closet, there were close to a dozen. That’s not including all the skirts she now owned. Yet Cassandra only wore them on weekends when she went out with Mike. There was no way she was going to stop wearing her jeans and t-shirts during the week. They seem to make Mike happy as much as they made her comfortable.
When Mike pulled up at 7:30. She was ready and waiting. When Casey opened the door, he was standing there in all his glory. Mike wore a white button down shirt and black jeans under a black long duster coat. It reminded her of the coat that Clint Eastwood wore in The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. The outfit was topped off with a pair of black boots and his black Stetson hat; he truly was her super-hot cowboy.
Her knees went weak just from looking at him. When Mike realized she was checking him out, he smirked. “Like what you see?” His chuckle made Cassandra blush. “I love it when your cheeks turn that beautiful shade of red. Now come here and kiss me.”
She sighed after the panty melting kiss he scorched her with. “How can you miss me? We were together all morning.” He kissed the tip of her nose before straightening.
“Do you realize, it’s been 11 hours 32 minutes and.” He stopped talking to check his watch. “Five seconds since I last kissed you.” How the hell was she supposed to keep from swooning?
“So where are we going tonight, young Mike Codey?” Cassandra asked as they made their way to his truck. All he would tell her was that special plans had been made to celebrate their nine month anniversary. She wondered once more why he would want to celebrate this particular month.
“Surprise.” He said as he got closer to the clubhouse. Casandra turned to look at him but he was already getting out of the Truck. He walked around to open the door for her. “The surprises are just starting.” When he opened the door to the house, she gasped. The room was filled with roses and candles. They were everywhere.
His face flushed and a shy smile stretched his lips. “Today is our nine month anniversary. Yet did you also remember, seven years ago today. You fell into my life.”
Casandra couldn’t help the glare she shot him. “It was more like you slammed into my life. You hit me with your bike.”
Mike chuckled, “aren’t you ever going to forgive me for that?”
She smiled at the memory. “I shouldn’t, but the fact that you did all this and still remembered the first day we met. Now that, makes up for everything.” Casandra walked up to him. Then raised her hands to pull his face down for a kiss. “You Mike
