ghost, ghost…” Dagon struggles.
“Dagon, you think I am a ghost?”  With a tiny push, the arm sends Dagon tumbling down to the ground, butt first.
“Mr…” Dagon stands up, rubbing his butt.
    “Zaak.”
“Mr. V’Sevolid, it’s you.”  Dagon bends down.  He was one of the servants for Zaak’s honeymoon suite and he was grateful for the generous tips left in their room each day.
“Yes, It’s me.  Sorry for disturbing you.”  Zaak smiles.
“Oh, no, that’s totally okay.   Um… I guess you need help, huh?”
“Sure I do.  Can you please do one thing for me?”
    “Anything, Mr. V’Sevolid.”
    “Okay…”

The whole Hibvuurorian tribe is ready to go now.   Bonita still can’t make up her mind whether she should go with the tribe people.  She knows that they will do everything to protect her.  On the other hand, she doesn’t want the whole tribe to get in trouble only for her.
“Look, Bonita, you can’t trust those brutal liars.  If you give yourself up, they will still come to get us.”  Thornken turns to his people and yells, “Move. Now!”  Then he turns back.   “Bonita?”
Bonita bites her lips, thinking hard.  “Okay, I’ll go.  And I’ll fight with you.”
“Look, they’re coming!” Savior points at the bottom of the ice hill.   A small group of people are moving fast this way.  “Get ready.”  He gives order.  A group of young men move closer to a huge pile of ice blocks.
Then they hear whistling.   Long and sharp.   Savior whistles back.   The whistle comes again, in a different tone.
“Friends.  They’re friends.”  Savor runs down.  Soon he runs back, gasping, “Bonita, I want, want you to… to see…”
Bonita looks.  There she sees her husband, limping, “Bonita!” Zaak waves his hands.   “Bonita!  Ha-ha!  Bonita!”
“Zaak, Zaak, you’re alive!”  She tumbles down, almost knocks Zaak to the ground.
    They kiss.
After a long time, Bonita breaks the kiss and looks at Zaak, “Zaak, where have you been?”  Then she shakes her head, wiping her tears, “Silly question, huh?”
The happy gathering doesn’t last long.  After Zaak introduces the hotel people to the tribe people and thank them for all their help, he looks at them with no smile.   “I made a huge mistake and now I’m going to correct it.   Yes, those filthy Canivuurorians are coming.  But they are coming for death .”
His plan is simple: Go get the army to give the bad guys a deadly blow, once and for all.

But how to get in touch with the army?  Everyone wants to know—and fast, because now they see the Canivuurorians hop on the ice cap real fast.

Chapter Ten
“Here’s what we are going to do.”  Zaak looks around.   “You all retreat to the valley and block the entry.”
“All?  How about you?” Quite a few voices ask the same question.
“I’ll stay and get in touch with my troops.”
    “How?”
“I saw my family spaceship wreckage down there.”  He points to a small snow pile not far away down the hill.   “So, I’m going to radio them from there.”
“Are you sure that the equipment is going to work?” Bonita is so worried.
Zaak thinks for a moment or two and then shakes his head slowly, “No.”
“Zaak, I don’t want you to take the risk.”
“But this is the only option.”
“We can take the equipment to the valley and try from there, right?”
“We’re running out of time, Bonita.  See there.”  Bonita takes a look and then covers her mouth with both hands, her eyes widening.
“General, please come with us.  We will wait ‘til they leave.  Then you can call your troops.”  Thornken’s voice is low and rushing.
“What if they don’t leave?  And I don’t think they will.”  Zaak holds Thornken’s hand.   “Thank you, Chief, for everything you did for us.   It’s now the time for me to resume my duty and protect the tribe.  Trust me, I can do it.”
