before?” I said, biting my lip.

“Well, there have been a couple of times, but it was clear that she wasn't totally into it. It was very hard for her to relax.” He sat down on the bed next to me. “We think she has a deep issue with opening up to men so she defaults to women. But last night it felt like you managed to get her as close as she’s ever been.”

“Uh, thanks.” I felt my cheeks burn.

“Seriously, thank you very much. Amy is sleeping right now but when she awakes I am sure she will kiss you many times for letting her have such an amazing experience.”

“Really?” I looked at him with my eyes wide.

“Totally.” His lips curled up, “I hope you enjoyed it as well.”

My whole face blushed as he said it. Of course I did, and I wanted more.

“So what do you do while she defaults to women?” I shot him a quick look as I felt my pulse accelerate.

“Well, I manage to keep busy with business and sports.” He looked away and let out a deep breath. “Fine, I know what you mean.” He lay back on the bed and put his arms behind his head, “I usually have something on the side, someone who Amy is not allowed to touch. We tried bringing other girls into the relationship but most couldn’t handle it. They would get jealous of Amy and start resenting her. This was completely insane since Amy was never a threat to anyone. She is always eager to make sure everyone has a good time. You’ve seen her and how open she was last night. I think she really likes you.” He smiled at me causing the dimples to appear in the corners of his mouth. I felt myself a few seconds away from jumping on top of his muscular body and right into his arms. I have waited too long.

“Tell Amy I said thank you.” I got up, not daring to look at him. “If you don’t mind I am going to head back.”

“Really?” I heard the raised pitch of his voice. “You want to go now?”

“Yeah, I have a lot of things to do today.” I lied.

“Well, if that’s what you want.” He muttered and got up from the bed.

“It was great seeing you Chase. I hope we can meet sometime again, and not wait eleven years for universe to bring us randomly together.”

“A word about that.” He took my hand in his. “You know, yesterday was an incredible experience for me. Seeing you. Seeing you get along so well with Amy.”

“Yes. Good things come to an end I guess.” I looked away feeling the knot rise to my throat.

He came up closer, filling my lungs with his delicious musk. “What if it didn’t have to end? Why don’t you come with us to California for the summer? You wouldn’t need to worry about a thing, I’ll take care of everything. You can live in the guest house and have your freedom. Think about it, the golden coast for the summer with Amy and I. Also, I will pay double whatever you’d make from working during this time.”

My eyes got wide as saucers but the excitement quickly faded away.

“Chase, are you trying to pay me to turn your wife straight?”

“I figured you might say that.” He bit his lip. “I can assure you that’s not the case. Amy and I have long established our boundaries and I doubt yesterday will change anything.” His eyes met mine, the deep blue oceans of sincerity within them, “I think she genuinely likes you, and so do I. And I hope that you like me too. Do you?”

I looked down at my feet and felt like an idiot. Of course I liked him, but what the hell was I supposed to do? Move with a guy I have the hots for, with his wife who wants me and doesn’t mind me sleeping with him? And to top it of I’d be getting lavishly paid? This was almost too good to be true, and I’ve learned to be a little pragmatic since the last time I saw him. They were a billionaire power couple with centuries of traditions and I was a call girl who had to pay my rent.

“Chase, thank you for the offer. Really.” I looked at his beautiful soft blue eyes. “You have no idea how hard
