    “Okay, okay. Let's go inside.” She watched him walk back to his car and he grabbed a large bag.
    Phoenix leaned down and whispered , “We will speak later. Please don't flirt with Max.” He took her hand in his and she bit her bottom lip. He was jealous and she loved it. She glanced at the doctor and he winked at her.
    Jennifer giggled as they walk into Phoenix's house. Before, she didn’t get a chance to look at his house. Blacks and bright reds filled her vision; his hard floor was black marble with bright red rugs here and there. The walls were black wallpaper with bright red swirls. The couch and chairs were black leather, with red pillows and a blanket on the back of the couch. “So what are you going to do?” she asked Max.
    “When an incubus impregnates a woman we can see faster with an ultrasound. Normal human pregnancies are slower than if you are pregnant with an incubus or a succubus.” He pulled out a large silver tablet and a thing that looked like a wand. “Normally I would do an ultrasound when you were sixteen weeks or so. When did you two have sex?” Jennifer blushed and looked down. She knew exactly how long it had been.
    “Ab out ten weeks ago.” Phoenix was the one to answer, and she looked at him.
    “Good, then we should be able to see what you are having. Phoenix, Jennifer should be laying down. Can we go to a bedroom?”
    Phoenix nodded. “Yeah we'll go to mine.” He grabbed her hand and walked up the stairs.
    They walked into the same room that had been in many of her dream s and it was very surreal. One word came to the forefront of her mind déjà vu. “Jennifer it would be best if you remove your skirt or if you can unzip it so I can get to your lower abdomen.”
    She walked over to the bed and unzipped her skirt; she pulled it to her waist and lay down. She glanced at Phoenix; he was standing about ten feet away. “Will I get to see my baby?” She turned her head to the side when she felt Max sit down.
    He smiled down at her, “Yes on this.” He held up the tablet, and then waved the wand. “I will roll this around on your abdomen. I will add a little lubrication, so I can move it around.” He pulled a little bottle out of his shirt pocket. “Are you ready sweetheart?” She nodded and pulled up her shirt to the edge of her bra. “This might be a little cold.” She felt the cool liquid drip onto her abdomen. He started pressing the wand against her; he looked at the tablet and his eyebrows creased together. “Well, that is unusual,” Max said and Jennifer looked at him.
    “What?” Her voice was shaking when she asked.
    “You are having tw ins, a boy and girl.” Max smiled down at her and turned the tablet so she could see. She saw a black and white image. “Baby girl.” He said and she smiled, that is her baby. He moved the wand. “And baby boy.”
    “But aren't twins very uncommon?” She heard Phoenix ask.
    Max kept his eye on Jennifer. “They are, that is why you can't be one hundred percent human.” He looked over at Phoenix and her heart pounded in her ears. What the hell did he mean that she wasn’t one hundred percent human?
    “ What? How can we find out what I am?” He took a towel and wiped away the lubrication.
    “I can do a blood test. I need to take some o f your blood anyway.” She hated needles, and hated her blood drawn.
    “Okay, ” she said apprehensively.
    “Let me see your arm.” She put her arm up. “Okay I need you to sit up. Phoenix, get over here and help.” Phoenix knelt on the bed and crawled over to them. “Take her other hand.”
    “Can I see the babies?” Phoenix asked as he took her hand in his warm large hand.
    “Sure, let me get the blood first.” Max said and Phoenix nodded.
    “Can you believe it? Twins!” Phoenix smiled down at Jennifer and she couldn’t stop her smile from
