but it was the first time that she had every tried to call a dragon. Her eyes were still focused. She couldn't see anything coming from the dreary gray horizon.

Half an hour passed, and the young sorceress saw nothing. She sighed. The sorceress thought she would fail, but deep down she dearly wanted to succeed. She had devoted her entire life to studying sorcery, and being chosen as a mate by a dragon would affirm her belief that she was meant to study magic.

She was about to cast a teleportation spell to bring her back home, but she heard a roar on the horizon. She looked to the east and saw a speck flying toward her. The speck grew until she could make out a large, black scaled creature with a long, rounded snout and large spikes growing from its head. It had massive wings and four muscled legs tucked beneath its white scaled belly. Its tail whipped one way and then another with each flap of its wings.

Ylana couldn't believe her eyes. It was a dragon! It had heard her calling spell and was answering it. The creature deemed her worthy to carry its young! After a few minutes the dragon landed on the side of the mountain with a thunderous boom. It's long neck craned downward to look at the young sorceress with deep red eyes. It spoke to her in the common tongue. "A heard your voice on the wind. Did you cast that call spell?"

The young magician knew that the dragon knew it was her. In the ancient annuls, it was traditional for the dragon to ask, just to make sure a foolish magician did not cast that particular spell erroneously. Ylana nodded and dropped to one knee to show respect to the great creature. "Yes I did lord dragon. I wish to give myself to you fully so that I may become mother to your young."

A smirk played across the dragon's muzzle. "Excellent, I am very pleased. Not only was I summoned by a capable sorceress, but a beautiful one as well. Tell me young one, has your flower of yet been caused to bloom?"

Ylana figured the dragon knew the answer to this question as well, and it was probably why it came to her. She smiled and shook her head. "No, it has not. It is waiting for your pollen so that it can."

The dragon's smirk graduated into a grin of pointed teeth. "I thought I sensed a virgin when I heard your call. This is amazing indeed! I don't wish to delay any longer, my body quivers in excitement. Are you ready to give yourself to me?"

The sorceress nodded and raised her arms to the large beast in affirmation. The dragon reached down and gently picked up the nude woman in a fore claw. With a few hammering flaps of its wings, it took off into the sky.

The world beneath Ylana quickly grew small. An empty feeling entered her stomach as the mountains beneath her turned into little rocks. The rushing air around her was cold and summoned goose bumps over her skin. She shivered and closed her eyes again.

The large beast stopped its ascent, just below a blanket dismal looking clouds. Ylana swallowed and dared to open her eyes. Above her, she could see how close the fluffy gray clouds were. A breeze blew past that felt like icy daggers in her skin. She violently shivered.

It took a moment for her to realize that if she were this close to the clouds, the ground must have been far below. Her heart started to pound furiously in her chest. She realized that if she fell, she wouldn't be able to concentrate enough to cast a teleport spell to save herself. She knew that dragons mated while in flight, but she was not as prepared for the endeavor as she thought she would be. "Please lord dragon, do not drop me." Her voice quivered.

The dragon pulled her close in a gentle embrace. Ylana's breasts pressed against his soft scales. A rumble was released from the creature's chest that the sorceress thought was soft laughter. "Do not worry sweet morsel, you are not in danger of falling. As long as I have you, you will be safe."

Even with affirmation, the sorceress still felt
