Brittany’s head like a nail. “Ima make sure you remember me!” she yelled. Brandy was still in shock, standing there holding her leaking mouth. She didn’t even bother to help her friend. Witnessing the damage Kyra was doing, she wanted no parts in it anymore.
Carmen, Whack, and Notorious were laughing so hard, they didn’t see mall security running their way.
“Aw shit Aw shit her come security!” Whack yelled, he had looked up just in time.
“Iight, Kyra, that’s enough; you won, we gotta get the fuck up outta here!” Notorious said, while trying to peel her off of Brittany.
Kyra yelled, “BITCH!” and gave her one last kick to her stomach. She then ran off to the nearest exit. Carmen, Notorious, and Whack ran behind her.
The four of them talked and laughed about what had just happened as they rode through the downtown streets. “You was beating that hoe ass; she ain’t know what the fuck to do!” Carmen said, laughing hysterically.
“Girl, them bitches was weak, talked all that shit and can’t even fight. Bitch thought she was doin something by pullin my hair, til I start gut punching her big ass! Then her homie the clown lookin ass friend thought she was bout it til I hit her with a two piece and a biscuit extra crispy!” Kyra yelled, her adrenaline was still pumping.
“Aye, you did do yo thang though lil Tyson, I just knew you was gon get beat up,” Whack said, laughing.
“Nigga please, I’ll throw down with the best and still come out on top. Now, try me!” she spat.
“Whoa, ok baby, don’t beat my mans up,” Notorious said, cracking up at the two. He liked Kyra from jump, but he really liked her now. She was cute, feisty, and down for whatever just like he liked them. He had to have her on his team, and he promised himself he would real soon. Little did he know she was feeling the same way. She didn’t know what it was about him, but ever since she had laid eyes on him earlier that day, he had given her butterflies.
“Anyway. Notorious can we go to Baskin Robins? I want ice cream,” Kyra asked using her sweet voice on him.
“I’ll go buy the whole franchise for yo ass baby,” he replied with a smile. He was so serious though.
“Aw, here yo trick daddy ass go,” Whack blurted out.
“Nigga, you shut yo ass up; you just mad you don’t have nobody to trick on,” Notorious shot back. “Matter of fact, make yo self useful and roll this weed… and don’t worry bout my trickn ass!” he said, handing Whack the weed and Philly. Notorious then turned the radio up and headed towards Baskin Robins in Central Westend.

Chapter 5
Kyra sat on the passenger side of Notorious’ Impala waiting on him to come out the corner store. (Bzzzz, Bzzzz, Bzzzz), his phone was ringing in the cup holder and had been nonstop since he got out. Kyra was so curious; it took everything in her power not to look at it and answer. They weren’t even together, so she knew she’d be crossing her boundaries. Plus, she knew what he did so she was pretty sure it was just a geek or one of his workers needing to re-up.
After about five more minutes, Notorious returned to the car wearing the biggest Kool-Aid smile on his face. “Why you lookin so goofy?” Kyra asked.
“Oh, nothing major. I just got something to ask you,” he replied.
“Okay, well spit it out already; don’t just sit there lookin stupid,” she said, laughing and somewhat excited.
“Kyra, like on some real shit, you know I like you a lot. For the past few months, we’ve been together every day and I could really get use to this. So basically, I’m asking will you be my girl?” he asked with the straightest face possible, while pulling out a ring he had just bought out the gumball machine in the store.
“Bwhahahahaha, awww how cute,” Kyra said, laughing so hard. “You are such a damn goof troop! But yes, Dorian, I will be happy to be your girl,” she said, as he placed the plastic ring on
