me.” I stilled. I couldn’t believe my ears. Thinking a frog must have jumped into my throat, I couldn’t speak. He kept a steady expression on his face but still had that intoxicated look in his eyes telling me that he was enjoying me.
    “What do you think?”
He swallowed as he closed his eyes and smoothly pushed into my hips urg ing me to carry on my thrusts. “If this is just smashing, I can't imagine how much better making love would be...because I am in a place rarely visited.”
I was all in. I went down to kiss him as I continued my ride. He pulled his arms around me and began to rhythmically meet my plunges. He gripped me tightly as if he wanted to be one with me. I tried to remain in control but every time his sweet breath hit my face and his grip intensified , I lost more and more of myself. I was floating further and further away from my center of gravity. My body was afloat and my mind drifted after it. I didn’t like the escape of lucidity.
“ Azmir, what are you...doing to me?” I cried out passionately, buried into his neck. I tried raising my body to see his face. I could hardly lift my torso from his fierce grip but was able to move my head a little. His eyes were closed shut as if he were fixated on something internally.
Damn! Could this man make an ugly face? He is so fucking sexy.
My body started to tremble against Azmir’s forceful thrusts.
Wait! This isn't supposed to be happening so soon .
Just that abruptly I erupted, melted all around Azmir. I felt it all the way down in my heated toes. Azmir must have too because all I heard was the sweetest, most gentle, ever-manly calling of my name, “Oooooh, Rayna!”
It made me gyrate like no other time in my life, which prolonged our orgasms.
The next morning, as my body was awakening from a hard sleep , I began getting flashbacks of my most recent memories. Azmir. His scent. His touch. The sound of his harsh breathing. I could smell him. That's when reality hit me and I remembered he was here last night . I reached over to caress him. His back. His chest... hell —anywhere. I didn't feel him. I opened my eyes to search and no Azmir. I jumped up.
No! Did he leave while I was asleep?
“Ms. Brimm, good morning,” he greeted with his coochie creaming smile. It was a morning must have that a girl could get used to.
He was sitting in the chaise Michelle had given me , making the damn thing look good. He looked refreshed in his jeans that exposed the band of his boxer briefs while holding his Blackberry. I looked at the time on the nightstand that read eight seventeen a.m.. I didn't know what time I had finally gone to bed last night. I remembered getting Azmir's clothes out of the drier and ironing his jeans and shirt. I didn't know what time he would be ready to leave so I wanted his things ready for him. Then I washed and blow-dried my hair in the powder room so that the noise wouldn't wake him. After that, I was beyond exhausted and climbed into bed with him. In his sleep, he pulled me closer and buried his face in my neck. I rested peacefully.
I see he found his clothes .
“ I had an epiphany while you were asleep,” Azmir spoke soft and evenly. “Judging by your reaction moments ago when you thought I’d left, I can deduce that you felt similar to how I did last night when you dropped me off.”
I squinted my eyes. I was lost. Seriously confused.
“ I've fallen for you. I haven't fallen for a woman in years...but I'm man enough to admit it. The question is what do we do about it.”
He looked at me in search of an answer. I was short of one. I was also puzzled as to where this was going. He waited. I nervously combed my hair back with my fingers while I searched for an answer and began to get self- conscious about my appearance.
“ Please don't try to fix your hair on my account. I find it very...organically appealing,” he growled lowly.
Organic? It was all over my head in a huge muffin I imagined.
    He put his phone down
