doing?" he asked.
"Right now? I'd be begging you for a hard fuck."
Went's prick perked right up, suddenly paying attention. God, he hadn't been hard since he'd come back and just knowing he could still get hard, just from a few words from Chip... "Mmm. And I'd be promising to give it to you."
"I'd love that. Nothing fancy, just you, your hands, your cock, your kisses."
Went stretched, hand drifting down to his prick, sliding on his muscles on the way there. "That works for me."
"Yeah." Chip sighed. "Do you have a house there?"
"A penthouse apartment. With a big bed you'd look fantastic on."
Chip chuckled softly. "Do you have a fabulous view?"
"Not as fabulous as yours and you can't see the stars at night."
"Oh, that's no fun. Did you eat supper?"
"Um..." Went honestly didn't know. And suddenly he wanted chocolate chip cookies in the worst way.
"Oh, you do need a keeper."
That had him chuckling. "You volunteering for the job?"
"Yeah. Yeah, dude. I totally am."
    "Cool."
It was. Chip was cool and fun and he felt so good when he was there and he knew damn well it wasn't the place. It was the person. It was Chip.
"Tell me to quit being all mopey because you went away, beautiful."
"You can't be mopey, Chip--you're my happy place."
"Okay. I won't be mopey anymore."
"Good, good." He sighed, wishing things were different, wishing he and Chip were together. "You wanna have phone sex?" That was almost as good as the real thing, right?
    "As in, hey watcha wearin'?"
"As in, I'm wearing a silk sheet. How about you?"
"Dude, I'm naked. All the way."
"Oh good, I love looking at that pert little ass of yours with its dragon inviting me to your hole." His cock twitched again and he gave it a pat. He wanted an orgasm, and he wanted it with Chip.
"Pert? I love it!" Chip cackled, the sound a bit like a huge bird. "I should get that inked on my butt."
"Only if you also get 'property of Wentworth Dawson' on it as well."
    "Pert Property?"
They started laughing together, the happiness better than any kind of sex.
"Oh fuck, I lo--looking so forward to seeing you." Shit. Went loved Chip. Every fucking inch of the man.
"Yeah? I love you, too, man."
    Oh.
"For real?" Or was he having insomniatic hallucinations or something?
"Yeah. Totally. I mean, like totally."
He laughed, his whole body suffused with something that felt like an orgasm, but wasn't. This went deeper. "Well, okay then." He could deal with pretty much anything, knowing that.
    "Yeah. It's pretty damned okay."
He laughed again, his eyes closing and he just enjoyed the feelings inside him and having Chip on the phone with him.
Everything was going to be damned okay.

Epilogue

Chip looked at the snow, grumbling a little bit. He'd taken a tumble, broken his arm. It wasn't serious, hell, it wouldn't even keep him off the slopes for half a season, but still... Bored. He couldn't even call Went--his beautiful called him, when Went could. Which was next to never, damn it.
The knock to his door was loud and sudden enough it made him jump. Oh, maybe one of the guys had taken pity on him and come to hang. He hurried to the door, opened it up, hoping it was someone wanting to share an Irish coffee or three.
Went stood there, looking pale and exhausted, two huge suitcases next to him. "Hey, Chip."
"Went? Beautiful?" He stood back, holding the door open. "Come in. You look like hell. Come on. I'll make coffee." He wasn't sure what Went needed, but it didn't matter, they'd figure it out.
"I feel like hell. Life's looking up now, though." Went grabbed his suitcases and came in. Then stopped before he closed the door. "Before we go any farther. I sold the company and my apartment. So...uh. Honey, I'm home."
"No shit?" He grinned. "Cool. Come on in."
Sold his company. Huh. Chip bet Went felt lighter.
"So that's okay?" Went closed the door and wrapped him in a hug. "'Cause I really need somewhere to stay and I don't want it to be anywhere but here. No, I mean anywhere
