Chapter Six

Holding the copy of Harper’s Bazaar in her hands, Madison closed her eyes as she lay back on the sunlounger. At least that way she wouldn’t have to look at the two gorgeous hunks on top of her roof. The image of their naked torsos branded itself once more into her memory. They were perfect physical male specimens. She guessed it was a consequence of working long hours on their ranch. They had wonderfully defined muscles. Their skin, tanned from the sun, shimmered with the water they’d just poured over themselves. It had been a very erotic show.
No wonder she’d needed to dive in the pool to cool off, when all she could think of was their hard, lean bodies servicing hers. Fuck, she was as horny as hell, and had no man to help ease the deep ache inside her wanton pussy.
She knew she’d teased them by oiling her body by the pool. She was well aware they’d been watching her with interest. No doubt they both had hard-ons pushing against the insides of their jeans. Being so close to them both over the last few days had only added to her sexual longing. In frustration Madi flung her magazine aside. She stood and wrapped a silk sarong around her hips, and then headed inside.
As she reached the stairs she heard the Hayes’ pickup rev into life. Through the arched window above the front door, she watched it head out of the drive at breakneck speed. It looked like oiling her body by the pool hadn’t been enough to tempt Gabe and Tyler after all. It seemed she hadn’t lit their fires. Now she’d have to take a cold shower—alone.
With her head down she climbed the stairs, running headlong into a hard, naked male torso coming down. “Gabe! I saw the truck pulling away and—”
“Whoa now, you’re in a hurry. You need to look where you’re going, Madi.”
Her gaze feasted on his manly chest muscles before she raised her eyes to his. Gabe Hayes had a predatory look about him. His black hair fell disheveled across his forehead, and his amber gaze devoured her half-naked body. He seemed to invade her personal space as he towered over her.
“I thought you’d both gone home,” she remarked nonchalantly, feeling anything but. Better to keep her distance and not make herself easy prey.
“Ty’s gone into town to pick up more tiles for the roof. He won’t be back ’til much later .” His voice deepened as he spoke the last two words.
She knew her chest heaved with the excitement of being so close to him. Just a few scraps of flimsy material stood between them. All she had to do was reach out and touch his bare skin. She licked her lips. Surely Gabe was exactly what she needed at this precise moment in time. She guessed he wouldn’t be looking for a long-term relationship. She felt the exact same way. Perhaps they could indulge in some animal fucking, no questions asked. But how should she go about it?
“Is there anything I can do for you, Madi?” His words seemed sexually charged to her ears. Was she reading his body language and tone of voice correctly?
“There is something, Gabe.” She put on her little girl voice, the one that she’d used to twist Carson around her little finger. That was until he’d tired of her. “Would you mind coming to my bedroom? One of the drawers in the dresser is jammed.”
Gabe grinned. “Why sure, Madi. It will be my pleasure.”
He moved to the side letting her pass, and then followed her up the stairs. She knew he’d be looking at her butt, so she deliberately swayed her hips seductively as she walked in front of him.
When they got to her bedroom she paused, wondering if she were being naïve. Eventually her libido won out, and she pushed open the door. A little bit of fun never hurt anybody. Once inside she pointed in the direction of the dressing table. “It’s just over there, Gabe.”
He went over and tried all the drawers. None of them snagged. “It doesn’t appear to be stuck now. I’ll run some wax along the runners to make
