her words; instead, it only seemed to amuse him further. He threw
his head back and laughed loudly, revealing his straight white
teeth.
    “ You know what, go screw
yourself,” she snapped as she scooped her shoes off the floor, not
bothering to put them on before walking to the stairs.
    “ Do you want these?”
Christian said from behind her.
    Amy whirled around and saw
her red lace panties dangling from his finger, his blue eyes
glimmering with mischief.
    “ Asshole,” she snapped as
she all but ran down the stairs. As she made her way through the
front of the gallery she could hear his loud laughter following
her.
    When she was in the safety
of her car she let out a loud scream and a round of curses that
would make a sailor blush. When she was done she jabbed the key
into the ignition and sped out of the parking lot, gravel spraying

    “ Are you seriously laughing
at me right now?” Amy said, glaring at her sister, who was sprawled
out in the middle of Amy’s bed.
    Carrie pushed herself up
on her elbows, trying unsuccessfully to get her mirth under
control. She’d been laughing so hard that tears were rolling down
her cheeks. “Aims, what the hell is the big deal? I mean seriously.
Did you not just say it was the best sex you’d ever
had?”
    “ Yeah,” she said,
begrudgingly.
    “ Did he hurt
you?”
    “ Not in any way that I
didn’t want to be,” she said. It was a good thing she and her
sister were so close because if she didn’t have someone to talk to
about the things that had happened last night, Amy was pretty sure
she would have exploded. As it were, she was already humiliated,
thinking that something was horribly wrong with her for wanting to
have those things done to her. Thankfully Carrie had told her it

    “ He definitely knows what

    Absently, Amy rubbed her

    “ Listen, I have a feeling
that Christian is just messing around with you, trying to have fun.
If you push him hard enough and let him know that you’re not
interested, then he’ll give it back.”
    Amy grunted. “Somehow I
seriously doubt that.”
    “ There is always the option
of doing what he asks,” she said with a sly grin.
    Amy looked up and shook
her head. “Are you kidding me? I don’t know who the hell he

    “ And yet that didn’t stop

Sunday,” Carrie said, arching one of her brows.
    Amy flushed at her
sister’s crudeness but knew she had one hell of a valid point. She

conversation I overheard with some guy named Amar, hmm? Christian
is hiding something,” she said as she crossed her arms over her

    Carrie slid from the bed
