these warm for you?”
“No,” Conner answered. “We’ll take them. But thank you for the offer, ma’am.” After the server had dropped off their plates and departed, he pointed to her food. “Eat.”
She glanced down. The steak looked great, but it wasn’t what she was hungry for. Not anymore. “I’m not hungry.”
Conner looked at her briefly before returning his attention to his food. “I want you tonight, if you’ll agree. And if you do, I’d suggest eating, sugar. You’re gonna need your strength for what I’m thinking about doing to you.”
Jessica inhaled a sharp breath. When he didn’t say anything more, she picked up her fork and steak knife and cut into her meat. She placed a bite in her mouth, her eyes shutting of their own accord as the succulent taste of really good beef washed over her tongue. She heard Conner swear and opened her eyes to find him staring at her mouth. “You’re trying to kill me, aren’t you, you little vixen? Payback is a bitch. Remember that.”
“I’m from Texas, we like our beef,” she defended herself.
“I’m from Texas too, sugar, but it’s not an orgasmic experience for me,” he retorted.
“Too bad,” she answered, taking another bite. She let out a low moan and he shifted in his seat.
    “You’re gonna pay for this.”
She didn’t doubt it. She also didn’t doubt it would be the most erotic experience of her entire life.
    * * * * *

Conner signaled the server for their bill as soon as Jessica put the last bite of her meal in her mouth. If he didn’t get inside her soon he was gonna melt down and that just wasn’t a cool thing for a man to do.
    “Ready?”
    “Where are we going?”
“Your room. I’ll meet you there in a minute. What number are you?”
“3416.” She bit her lip and Conner swore if she kept doing it he was going to spank her pretty ass. There was no way she didn’t know what her playing with her mouth all the time was doing to him.
“Having second thoughts, darlin’?” He hoped to hell not, but he would never force himself on an unwilling woman.
    “No,” she began. “It’s just…”
When she didn’t continue Conner took her aside in the hallway near the elevators and rubbed his hands up and down her arms. She shivered and he cocked his head to the side. “Hey, what’s goin’ on in that pretty little head of yours?”
    “I don’t have a lot of experience…I’m afraid I’ll disappoint you.”
Conner couldn’t hold back the relieved bark of laughter. “Oh honey, you could never disappoint me.”
“Yes, I could.” Nodding to emphasize her point, she turned away from him.
“No, you couldn’t,” he replied, tipping her chin up and placing a soft kiss on her ravaged lips. “You’re about as sweet as they come, sugar, and I can’t wait to get you all to myself. I wanna unwrap you like a present, and kiss you and lick you all over.” He nuzzled into her neck and bit down on the sensitive spot where it met her shoulder. She shuddered and he did it again, a little harder this time. “You like a little pain, huh? I’ll have to keep that in mind.” Rising to his full height, he looked down at her. God, the top of her head barely reached his pecs. His dick twitched. He loved petite women. If they had plenty of curves—even better. “I want you to be sure about this though. Do you want me?”
    “Yes, God yes,” Jessica replied.
“And so we’re clear, if you let me in to your hotel room tonight I am going to fuck you. Not make love to you, Jessica—fuck you. Hard, fast, raw sex. Is that what you want?” She moaned and buried her face in his chest. “Say the words, Jessica.”
    “Yes.”
    “Yes what?”
“Yes, I want you. I want sex.”
“Then let’s go.” He pulled her to the bank of elevators and pushed the button. It was a minor miracle they’d gotten through dinner and their little interlude in the hallway without a tour official or fellow rider interrupting them, but he didn’t
