aircraft, she would demand he tell her about himself. He wouldn’t
be allowed to make any sudden moves. He would keep those god sent
hands to himself, she would retain her dignity and her virginity.
Yes!

“Christina tell me about yourself?” he asked
her. She looked at him with wide eyes. Damn him! He was a mind
reader; she was supposed to be doing the questioning here! She
gulped her champagne again. Oh no! This conversation would not be
influence by alcohol, if that happened he would know all of her
secrets. It was ten in the morning for crying out loud!
“There’s not really much to tell. I’m an
associate professor at Vanderbilt University. I enjoying reading,
and I have an unhealthy obsession with the id investigation
channel.”
“Any favorite hangout spots?” Matt wanted to
know what she liked so he could make plans.
“Not really. I’m a home body. I was only out
that night at the bar because Sarah dragged me out,” she said
blushing furiously thinking about that night. If that was true then
Matt could surmise that she probably knew next to nothing about the
corporate world. She was an educator. Unless she did side jobs
maintaining security infrastructures for privately own
companies.
“What about you?” she asked. It was Matt’s
turned to be on the spot. He didn’t want to tell her his status
just yet. He wanted to get to know her.
“I work for a corporate office, in New
York.”
“Oh,” her shoulders sagged. He was far. How
was this going to work? That’s if he even wanted to be in a
relationship with her. She probably was just assuming. Before she
knew it, he had got up out of his seat and tilt her head upward,
until she was gazing into his eyes.
“This will work. If you ever have any
doubts, just come to me.” He said rubbing the corner of her mouth.
She tried to look away. Was she that transparent? Sometimes she
hated how much of an open book she was. Clearing her throat she
broke away from his hold and sipped her champagne. She was
embarrassed. They needed a change in subject.
“So what part of Colorado are we going to?”
she asked him.
“Aspen.” Matt watched as her eyes grew round
and large. The excitement was evident as she bounced up and down in
her seat. He was sure Collum went all out on their private cabinet.
Knowing Collum it was probably something ostentatious and
massive.
“When will get there?” Christina asked,
excitedly. She’d never been to Aspen before. It was one of the most
desirable places to visit in the United States. Matt chuckled. They
should be arriving in about five minutes. He took in her attire.
She was dressed in hip hugging jeans that left all her curves on
display and a cashmere sweater hugged her breasts. He’d give
anything to be the sweater. He had coats ready for them upon
landing. He couldn’t wait to show her the place that he fell in
love with. He was going to have to thank Collum.

Once on the ground Christina made a beeline
for the car. It was definitely frigid out. The sun shined brightly
warming her a little. She slid into the vehicle, glad that Matt had
a coat ready for her. All the sexual tension between them was
taking its toll on her. She was tired. When the vehicle pulled up
to the private cabin that they would be staying in, her breath left
her. It was massive and gorgeous. What the hell did they do for a
living? This place looked like a celebrity’s home.

“You said Collum reserved this for you. Who
is he?” she asked him awestruck.
    “A millionaire.” He whispered.
“Wow. Remind me to tell him thank you.” She
said taking the room in. The interior was elegant. It consisted of
a palette of silvers, whites, grays that completed the
architecture. The ceilings were vaulted, crown molding spread
throughout the room. It was very sophisticated. The furniture
looked warm and inviting, there was deep upholster seating
everywhere. When she made it to the entertaining space, she
