over to the bed. He maneuvered them both onto the bed without dislodging his
cock. “Forget about whatever is making you feel sad. Just concentrate on the
way your body feels as I fuck you.” His words sent little shocks down her
spine.
He reached down and began to play with her clit. He thrust
more forcefully. It cleared her head of everything, but the way he felt inside
her. Pleasure bound her tightly, forcing her body higher and higher until she
burst apart from it. Her sheath twitched and clutched at Shunyuan’s cock until
he joined her in release. She was too exhausted to stay awake. She just hoped
he would be there when she awoke.

He had known he was hurting her by not fucking her. He
couldn’t explain how he knew. He had only wanted to extract information, but
then he had felt her agony and he wasn’t able to keep torturing her. For some
reason, it was repellent to him. Whatever link they shared also convinced him
she hadn’t purposefully done anything to him. She wasn’t telling all she knew
though.
She also hadn’t liked his attempt to extract information.
He’d been amazed by the way she’d kicked him in the chest to get away from him.
She’d turned from pleasured woman to pirate captain in the blink of an eye. She
wasn’t to be taken advantage of without consequences and despite himself, he
enjoyed her fierceness.
She was asleep again. He made her more comfortable on the
bed before getting up and grabbing a glass of water from the bathroom to clear
his head.
His goal was to return to Earth and help the resistance. His
entire life had been spent defending and fighting. First, as his father
explained, his role as a teen bigger and stronger than the others was to
protect and not harm. He was raised to be a leader and to look out for anyone
weaker.
Shunyuan had carried the same philosophy into the Marine
Corps. He’d fought for and defended his country. When he’d left the Corps, he’d
taken over as sheriff when his dad had retired.
Then black spacecraft filled with the beast-like aliens had
terrorized the skies and decimated every country on Earth. He’d taken as many
of the townspeople who had survived into the sanctuary of the mountains and
joined the fight for a free Earth. He needed to return.
Unfortunately, whatever Acia had done to him made him feel
guilty for wanting to leave her. It was ridiculous. He didn’t even know the woman.
They’d just met and there was no logical explanation for how drawn he was to
her or how the sight of her made him want to relegate any and everything else
to last on his list after taking care of her.
He looked at her through the bathroom door. She slept
sprawled on her stomach. Sylph-like and glistening, she slumbered with her hair
pooled around her shoulders.
His mouth tightened and he turned abruptly away. He tossed
the cup into the sink and clutched the edge of the counter. He was getting out
of here as soon as he completed his obligation to Acia. His hand automatically
came to rub his chest as the cord he felt there tightened. Shunyuan gritted his
teeth. Once he left the ship whatever voodoo or alien magic she had cast over
him would be gone.
But she was so beautiful. He turned back slowly. As if
compelled, he approached the bed. He trailed a finger down her arm. So smooth.
Shunyuan slid under the covers next to her. He hesitated then pulled her close.
She nuzzled him and he marveled at how slight her form was.
Holding her did not mean he was staying. He had to return. There was so much
that still needed to be done. Shunyuan’s spirit wouldn’t allow him to rest
until he’d done all he could for the people of Earth. He would die trying to
free Earth from its alien invaders.
    Acia flailed awake. “Shunyuan!”
“I’m here. Did you have a bad dream, Acia?” He smoothed her
hair.
    “No, I…” She looked down.
    “What? Tell me.”
“I felt as if you were in danger.” Her eyes were glued to
the bed’s coverlet.
    “I’ve been
