then that I would be the one to introduce your virginal ass to a real cock.”
Brie felt pleasurable tingles on hearing his confession. “How did the other trainers react when I called out your name?”
He shook his head. “That little slip almost cost you the spot, babygirl. None of the trainers were pleased, but Gray was especially troubled because he was convinced you knew me personally.”
“But you explained we were strangers, right?”
“I did, but it only seemed to provoke him further. The fact that you were fantasizing about a trainer before you even started the program was a major concern to him.” Sir tilted his head and shrugged. “Looking back on it now, I suppose he had a point.”
“What did you think when I called out your name?”
He grinned. “It was gratifying, Miss Bennett.”
“I still can’t believe I was brave enough to do the video with that tiny phallus, especially when I…” She blushed profusely, remembering back to the making of the video. “Truly it was only because I was thinking about you that I found the courage. I felt this deep stirring in my soul whenever I thought of you.”
“Which does bring validity to Gray’s initial argument. Luckily, Samantha fought hard for your inclusion in the training program.”
Brie looked up in surprise. “What?”
“You heard me correctly,” he chuckled. “Samantha fought to keep you, despite Gray’s protests, and was even able to convince Coen that you would be a good fit for our program.”
“And they both lived to regret it,” she said, laughing to herself.
“No, Brie. Coen respects you, and Samantha…I’m convinced she suffered with issues of jealousy, which clouded her professional judgment. However, she’s come to appreciate your abilities and talents since.”
“Rytsar told me at the cabin that he wanted to talk to you about her.”
“And he did, but I do not agree with him.”
“What are your thoughts on it, Sir?”
“My friend was damaged by his encounter with Samantha. It’s understandable that he still harbors strong feelings against her. It stands to reason that if he can’t trust her himself then he’s unable to trust her with anyone he cares about.”
“So you aren’t concerned about Ms. Clark?”
“Samantha has striven to change her behavior and has been through countless experiences since that incident. She’s not the same undisciplined woman she was in college. With that in mind, I have to answer no. I do not worry about her with you, although I completely understand why Durov feels that way. I’m certain I would as well if it had happened to me.”
“Sir, he asked me a question that has haunted me since.”
    “What was that?”
“Rytsar asked if I trusted her, and I can honestly say that I don’t. I trust all of the other trainers, but I haven’t been able to fully trust Ms. Clark.”
Sir nodded. “Unfortunately, she’s never given you a reason to trust her. Trust must be earned, and she failed in that regard with you.”
“I always knew she was harsh as a trainer, but I respected her even when she was harder on me than the others. Knowing how much Lea cared for her, and then learning about your own relationship with her, has helped me to keep a more open mind.”
“How did you feel about her when you met in Denver?”
“It was very different. She seemed easygoing, less abrasive, although just as intense.”
“And how did you feel when you were alone with her?”
“I always feel uncertain around her, Sir. Even now. I enjoyed filming her scene, but I also felt like a mouse being played with.”
“That is an interesting way to put it. Although I know Samantha insists on having the upper hand with subs, I felt the tension with you and had to call her on it several times even after your training.”
“Sir, I never understood her obsession with forcing me to keep my eyes down until this last trip to Russia. After going to Rytsar’s club, I can appreciate why eye contact
